A fist flew into your stomach, knocking the air out of you. You attempt to draw another breath before they punch you again. You brace yourself for another hit, when you here a yell.

"Hey! Leave her alone or will hurt you!" A voice shouts.

You look up and see Wonder Woman standing in front of you. The bullies drop your arms and run for the hills. She grabs one and punches him in the face.

"Dont let me see you doing anything like thos again," she warns. He nods his head vigorously as he clutches his nose.

"Are you okay," she asks.

You begin sobbing. You're pretty sure you have a few broken ribs and half your face is numb.

She sits on the ground and puts her arms around you.

"Its okay. They're gone." She comforts you.

You just nod, but continue crying.

"Whats your name?" She asks.

"(Y/n)," you sniffle.

"I'm Diana." She returns, "Do you have any family?"

"No, it's just me." You whisper.

"Here," she says as she picks you up, "lets get you to a hospital."

"Thanks." you say as she leads you to the nearest hospital.

On the way there, you tell her about your past. How your mother died in childbirth, and how your father became insane and committed suicide when you were ten. You had lived on the streets ever since.

The whole time, she treated you like a normal person. Normally, people turned up their noses at you, but Diana was nice to you and even listened to every thing you had to say. She treated you like her own child and not some gutter trash.

Then and there, you decided, Wonder Woman was the best super hero ever.
