I think the saddest part of the Anastasia AU is the transformation

DC goes from this sweet, doe eyed man to what the band convinces him he looked like

They cut his hair and dye it, pierce him, give him tattoos because 'Well Noah you wanted to anyway', they get him addicted to cigarettes etc etc

All trying to make him their dead bandleader 

And while that above image for DC is rather cute it's just...not who he is. 

And DC slowly leans into being 'Noah' despite a small part of his brain telling him this is wrong
