All the powers are mostly tied to the state with a few exceptions. New Mexico's is space in general, Arizona's is more heat because he and Cali can't share fire

Like in the series, the states are divided within their own regions so instead of inner or outer scouts you have like NE scouts, Western scouts etc etc. 

They're mostly splinted before 2020 because they just can't get along. They don't get along much in their own groups either but at least they can work together.

Their main goal is a) find their version of the moon princess and b) defeat the big evil
