Hi everyone, the time has come for a new chapter in my DC Comics Discussion Page thingy. So let's begin. So I'm a little late on this one. Well several updates late so I'm playing catch-up right now. Anyways let's begin!

Titles Released This Week:
Action Comics #1030:
I read this issue because it had the super sons make a brief appearance in it. Overall I thought this was just an ok issue. Nothing bad but nothing amazing.

Batman Black & White #5:
This issue had some pretty decent content in it. Best story was the birthday story with Nightwing and the Bruce and Damian story.

Challenge of the Super Sons #14:
This was a sad but pleasant issue as it marked the end of this super sons story. Will we ever see tomasi back writing them? I don't know. It's sad that he isn't on any other title. I'll enjoy the fact that I at least got to experience this.

Detective Comics #1035:
This was a pretty decent issue. The art was nice and that's about it. So yeah. Cool stuff.

Robin #1:
Now onto the main thing I was excited about. Robin #1. I loved this first issue. The artwork was awesome. The story and that is great so far. Joshua Williamson is setting Damian up on a hero's journey.  We also have Damian reading Manga which is cool. We get brief glimpses into the tournament and by the end we're introduced to the character of Flatline who battles Damian in an epic battle with a heart stopping cliffhanger. I just really enjoyed this issue. 

Teen Titans Academy #2:
This was another not so great issue. The new characters aren't great. Plus the way this issue writes Dick and Kory is kind of insulting.

They make Kory a whiney and jealous type of Barbara. There's been no setup for this relationship right now. Dick just got his memory back. In the Nightwing book there's his relationship with Babs building and now he's just suddenly sleeping with Kory in Titans Academy.

I don't like this. Nobody wants this. Whether you're a Dickbabs shipper or a DickKory shipper this makes them all out to be bad. On top of that the red x stuff and new character stuff is lame. I'm not liking this book right now sadly.
