Titles Released On 12-6-2017 Batman & the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II
Hello everyone and welcome to another DC Comics Discussion! This is the start of a new Beginning as DC Rebirth has come to an end and the books that are set in the DC Universe now have the DC Universe banner on them instead of the DC Rebirth Banner on them. I'm kind of saddened by that because Rebirth meant a lot to me as a comic book fan. But, I knew that it wouldn't last forever. So now the time has come to step into a new light. Going forward I will now be listing all the DC comics titles that are released including the ones that aren't all in canon with each other. Basically all things released by DC comics. Anyways here are the titles that were released.
Titles Released this Week:
Bane Conquest #8
Batman #36
Batman Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II #1
Batman: White Knight
Black Lightning Cold Dead Hands #2
Bombshells United #7
Cyborg #19

DC Universe Holiday Special 2017 #1
Deathstroke #26
Green Arrow #35
Green Lanterns #36

Superman #36
Issues that I Picked Up This Week:
Batman Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II #1
This book is the sequel to the very entertaining Batman vs Ninja Turtles crossover that came out throughout most of 2016. That's a book that I highly recommend you all go out and read. This is only the first issue of the second crossover. So far it's not quite as gripping as the first issue. Batman & Robin are barely even in it. I feel like this issue is just the get the story going so we can get to the good stuff type issue. Hopefully it picks up the pace with the next couple issues.
DC Universe Holiday Special 2017 #1
This book was full of stories centered on Christmas set all across the dc universe. Some were good and some were forgettable. There's also a framing device with John Constantine and Superman that ends kind of funny. I don't really think this is a must own book as it doesn't really advance any major plot devices but I guess if you want to read an anthology book with all your favorite DC heroes than this one is for you!
Green Arrow #35
This issue of Green Arrow took it a bit easier than normal. At least since this run started. Green Arrow has been put through so much torture on this run that you can't help but feel really bad for him. In this issue Oliver has to travel to the bottom of the ocean with it mom to retrieve things that will help against the those chasing him. Anyways, I don't feel like saying much more and i think you should read green Arrow.
Nightwing #34
If you want to know what I think of Nightwing up to this point then check out my Nightwing Rebirth Recap. I go into much greater detail. This issue was a great way to close out the raptors revenge storyline. I feel like it wraps everything up pretty well and leaves the door open for some good stuff In the future. I heard that this issue marks the end of Seeley's current run on Nightwing which has been consistently great. Here is hoping to a great future with whoever takes on Nightwing next.
Superman #36
This concludes the Apokolips storyline and it leaves a lot of ramifications by the end of it, I loved this issue. Superman Rebirth has been great and this issue goes to show why I love superman as character and how he stands for truth and justice. The artwork is great and I also have been enjoying anything with Jonathan Kent in it. I don't want to give anything else away but I think you should go ahead and read this issue. After this we're supposed to be getting that Big SuperSons of Tomorrow crossover so be on the lookout for that!
Anyways, that's all there is for this week. I hope you enjoyed reading this and as always be sure to let me know what you thought of this week's selection of comics in the comments below and we can talk about it some more. Have a nice day!
