How's it going everyone. Sorry for the delay on this one. Wednesday was a busy day and same for Thursday. But, now that I have had some time to read and digest the issues that I picked up this week let's talk about them. Anyways, listed below is all the comics that were listed under the DC Rebirth banner that came out this week.

Anyways here is what I picked up this week along with my thoughts on them.

Action Comics #988
In this issue we discover why Mr. OZ is the way he is and how he got to earth. At this point the reveal has been out for awhile so spoilers. Its Jor-el. This mystery has me very intrigued and I can't wait to see what it's all leading too. It's clear to me that Dr. Manhattan is involved and I'm still not sure why. I guess we will have to wait until Doomsday Clock drops in November.

Batman the Murder Machine #1 (DC Metal Tie In)
This one is great. It's dark and twisted and it gives us basically Cyborg Batman. The story behind this Batman is pretty dark and heartbreaking. I don't want to give too much away and would rather discuss some stuff in the comments. But, I highly recommend checking this out.

Detective Comics #965
Tim Drake has been trapped in a prison run by Mr. Oz for awhile and he's been trying to escape. This was a solid issue and I can't wait to see where it goes next. I hope Tim makes it out ok. The reunion that he has with the Batfamily should be something special.

Suicide Squad #26 (DC Metal Tie-In)
Ok so this is part 3 of the Gotham Resistance storyline that started in teen Titans #12 and Continued in Nightwing #29. I thought this was a better issue than last week's Nightwing #29. But, still not as good as Teen Titans #12. But, not to bad. This storyline is set to CONCLUDE in next week's Green Arrow #32. So here is hoping it goes out in style.
