Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter in my DC Comics Discussion Page! This week saw the release of a bunch of annuals, the looney tunes, and plenty of batgirl. (She's in 3 of the issues i read). And each one was very different. But, she was good in them.

Titles That I Picked Up This Week:

Batgirl #26:
In this issue Babs faces off against the villain grotesque and gets pretty banged up. I liked the issue and the  ending was something quite interesting. It's not the note I was expecting it to end on. But, I'll take it.

Batgirl Annual #2:
Another Batgirl issue!? That's right you get 2 Batgirl issues in the same week. I'm not sure why they released 2 of them on the same day. But, they did and I read them. This issue involves Babs dealing with her serial killer brother and as far as issues go this one was arguably the best issue in this rebirth run. So that's a good sign for the future of this run.

Nightwing Annual #1
It's Nightwing against the Dark Web! With the help of Batgirl. The stuff with Babs and Dick I really liked. I wasn't really a fan of Dick's uncomfortable flirting with Vicki Vale. After all she did date Bruce at one point. I'm not sure how to feel about the rest of this issue. The way Nightwing is written feels a bit out of character for him. At least in my opinion. Anyways, I hope Percy's run gets better soon. It's nowhere near the level of his green Arrow run was.

Red Hood and The Outlaws Annual #2:
After the divisive issue that came out a few weeks ago we get something much happier as Jason Todd and Roy Harper act as best friends here. It's a surprisingly happy issue. Which instantly tells me that something really dark and depressing is about to happen next. (DC can't stay happy for more than an issue. That's ridiculous to them). But, anyways I liked this issue and I think most fans will. So there's that.
