Titles That I Picked Up This Week:

Adventures of the Super Sons #1
Yay! The SuperSons are back. Oh happy days. This issue was great and was a much needed issue after the crap that's been going on at DC lately. It was so refreshing to see something that wasn't overly depressing again. Lol. Seriously, this is what I loved about Superman rebirth and SuperSons. It was a fun comic that made me love reading. My only disappointment with the issue is that I can be reading the next issue right now. I'm so happy that this issue is out and that at least once a month (for a whole year) we're going to get the continued adventures of Jon and Damian for awhile. It's what the world of DC comics needs right now because I'm fearful that Didio and company are going to try and get rid of these types of storylines and try and remove the hope and optimism from the DC universe that I love so much. But, only time will tell. In the mean time. Keep reading Super Sons. It's incredible.

Batman #52
Ok so in this issue Bruce Wayne is at Jury Duty on a case about Batman and he's kind of losing it. This issue reminds me a lot of the movie 12 angry men. It's a fine issue. Nothing is wowing me. But, nothing is aggravating me. I hope it really picks up in the next arc.

Deathstroke #34
I just want this to end. Just end it already. Don't make Slade Damian's Biological father for some stupid reason. If they do that I will drop this Deathstroke run altogether and I won't be picking up any more Christopher Priest storylines. I'm serious in that department.

I'm completely lost with what's going on in this storyline. There are so many contradictions going on that it's gotten ridiculous. For instance in the first issue Batman says he did a DNA test years ago and now Slade is saying this crap.

Like what the hell!? I swear I'm going to be livid if DC fucks this up. It's not even being referenced in any of the other books. But, still. I just hate this storyline so much. It's just pissing me off. Anyways, I'll be happy to see this storyline finally end next month. We're almost there. The ideal ending for me will be with Bruce getting the DNA tests to prove he's the father and him hugging Damian. You give me that and I'll be fine.

Green Arrow #43
So with this week's issue a new creative team officially took over Green Arrow. The team behind Batgirl and the Birds of Prey.. Ok I read that entire run and it wasn't necessarily the best run. But, I'm willing to give this new run a chance. Ben Percy's run was fantastic with incredible artwork and I wonder if anyone will be able to top that run for awhile. But, we shall see if the new creative team comes close. This issue also gave some teases for Heroes in Crisis. An event that's going to kill off several fan favorite heroes. (I heard rumors they were gonna kill Roy Harper. But, we shall see). Anyways, this issue has me intrigued. There were some dumb moments. But, overall. It wasn't too bad.

Justice League #5
This was easily the best issue of this run so far because it involved Lex Luthor at his best as he went and established the Legion of Doom. In fact this issue had hardly anything to do with the Justice League And was solely a villain issue. Which made it feel all the more refreshing. I love the way Lex is being written in here and on top of that the artwork looks great making for a fantastic issue. I'd say Check this one out. Simply for Lex Luthor.

Nightwing #47
In this issue we continue off the events of the last issue where Nightwing has to fight some tech bad guys with the help of Babs. This Issue was decent. I kind of just rushed through it. But, I didn't hate or love it. I hope the next issue is really good. (Also, I really want Nightwing and Batgirl to hook up. I've wanted that for years as that's probably my favorite canon ship in all of DC comics. So here's hoping that happens).
