The Titles That I Picked Up This Week:

Batman: Prelude to the Wedding- Batgirl vs. The Riddler #1
Ok so this is another Prelude Issue and it honestly didn't need to exist. The only major takeaway thing we got from it had Barbara Gordon coming to a realization that I've been saying for a long time. (Something Black Canary points out).

Babs love for Nightwing/Dick Grayson. These two should just hookup already. They've been teasing it a lot in every book since the beginning of rebirth. It's time to just make it happen already. But, anyways the next Prelude is with Red Hood so that should be neat.

Detective Comics #982:
This issue was a just a filler one shot. That's all I will say. I liked the horror element to it, and there was one great emotional panel. But, that's about it. You don't have to read this issue. You honestly can skip it.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #23:
So now that I'm All caught up with Red Hood and the Outlaws I can start talking about it some more! This was a pretty good issue that dived more into the backstory of Jason Todd and his father. While this issue didn't feature Bizzaro or Artemis. I still very much enjoyed it and I'm interested to see where it goes from here.

The Man of Steel #3
Continuing off the events of the last issue. Issue 3 still doesn't answer any major questions. It's not terrible. It's an enjoyable read. It's just that I'm kind of surprised we haven't really learned anything all that major in this issue yet about Rogelio Zaar and why he is the way he is. Hopefully we find out next week!

Titans Special #1:
This issue sees Nightwing forming a new team. Things have been crazy since Justice League no justice. The Justice League is off doing their own thing. The titans have been disbanded. (Same with the Teen Titans. Which so far has not even really been explained. After no Justice the explanation for them disbanding seems really half assed. It was just a throwaway line. Nothing more. We don't really see why Damian disbands/has them go rogue yet. So they better show us why. Anyways, in this issue Nightwing recruits Donna Troy, Beast Boy, Raven, Steel's Niece Natasha (I don't know her name) and Miss Martian joins them at the end. (I wish at least Raven was still on the Teen Titans, but we're pretty much just getting a whole new squad). So, with all that said. I'm still looking forward to the direction they're taking with this new team. I thought that Titans has been ok so far. (I just finished reading the entire run today(. Not great, but ok. So here is hoping this new series creative turns out pretty well going forward.

Anyways, those are the issues released for this week. So far there were no real standouts. But, I still liked a lot of what I saw.
