By this point you know the drill. This is the week I've been dreading. I don't want Damian to be Slade's son. If they completely change it to where he is I'm going to be pissed... BTW, since comixology removed the pull list services it's tougher to tell what's being released this week.

Titles I Picked Up This Week:
Batman #44
This issue is about Catwoman looming for her wedding dress while the issue has flashback moments of their different outfits. That's it. If you want to see Selina looking for a wedding dress than this is the issue for you!

Deathstroke #30
Ok well here it is. The issue I've been dreading reading. Ever since I read the synopsis where it said that Slade Wilson was Damian Wayne's Biological father I wanted to break something. How could DC possibly ok a complete retcon of an entire character's history!? That makes no sense. So anyways, it turns out that this is a flashback story and in regards to the whole DNA testing thing well..

It's just some sort of message that they have to decipher. So yeah Bruce Wayne is still his father and the letter they found is something meant to craft a collision course between these two. Even Slade says the whole thing is a forgery.

So yeah, that whole entire is he the father thing was complete nonsense. I mean Batman still presses him about it. But, Slade says it's an obvious forgery and that he basically tested Damian although he still says it's all just a load of crap.

It is kind of confusing. Slade says he had him tested and then Batman asks him if he's curious that Damian could be his son. Wait Slade literally says that he tested him a panel before this and the next one has Batman asking him about it. I mean with Bruce confirming that he's a perfect match as Damian's father it pretty much proves it and all signs point to this being a forgery. I don't know I guess they'll explore it more. But, for now you can rest assured knowing Slade Is NOT the father of Damian Wayne.

Green Arrow #39
This is the first issue under the new creative team for Green Arrow. So far I liked this issue. It involved Ollie going to a country that was basically taken down by Deathstroke and in this issue we see Oliver trying to make a difference and fix it up. I won't say much else but I look forward to what's next.

Nightwing #42
Um.... ok..... This issue was just a random one shot set in Japan and it's basically Nightwing in the movie Game of Death. In fact they make that joke in this issue. Nightwing has to fight his way through different levels in order to rescue Damian. I'm torn on this issue being both bizarre and awesome.

Superman #44
This issue continues off the events of the last one. Once again my favorite thing about this issue is Robzarro and his Gomez Adams persona. We have to have him meet Damian at some point. We just have to. I don't care how you do it DC but make it happen.

Anyways, I guess if I had a complaint it would be adapting to Bizzaro speak. Since the majority of this issue is Bizzaro speak I often had to find myself backtracking in order to really understand it. Still Superman Rebirth has been great and I'm not happy that it's ending after the next issue. (At least I think it's the next issue). Anyways, here is hoping that they conclude on a strong note!

Well, that's going to wrap it up for this week. I'm glad I got through that first Deathstroke Issue. I feel more comfortable now.
