Titles Released 3-14-2018 Tim Drake Be Like "F**k That."

A lot has changed since last week's update. I was feeling pretty good about the flow of DC comics until I read that description for Deathstroke #30. I'm so nervous to read that arc because I don't want to believe the possibility of Slade being Damian's father and not Bruce. (You know the guy who has been his father since the character's inception). Anyways, listed below are the comics being released this week.

Action Comics #999
Batgirl and the Birds of Prey #20
Detective Comics #976

Titles I Picked Up This Week:

Action Comics #999
Wow, it's hard to believe that we're one issue away from 1000! It's crazy to think about. But, it's true. In this issue we see the fallout from the booster gold arc and we also see Superman brining his family together. Honestly, this feels a lot like a final issue of sorts. Like the ride is over or something like that. It was a good issue showcasing not only Superman's heroics, but Clark Kent's too. I also enjoyed seeing cyborg Superman and anything featuring Jonathan Kent has been pretty good so far. Overall I'd say this is worth checking out.

Batgirl and the Birds of Prey #20
Birds of prey has been kind of a mixed bag since the start of Rebirth. I'm not really a fan of the villain the calculator and I think he's kind of a weak villain per say. I like the dynamic between all the birds of prey but and I think the best stuff so far in this run has been with Helena and the family drama there. I mean this arc has been fine with the last issue being pretty solid.

Detective Comics #976
This issue deals with the fallout over clayface's death and in this issue we see a very depressed Cassandra Cain along with a hostile Tim Drake who has to deal with Bruce and at one point in the issue he says this.

This part made me laugh. As far as the other stuff goes it's fine. I need to read/reread all the rebirth detective comics to get more attached to this stuff.

Anyways, thank you all for reading this week's discussion. Be sure to leave a comment. And don't forget to keep sharing the hashtag #BruceWayneIsHisFather once again that's for reading and have a nice day.
