Titles Released 11-1-2017

Hey everyone and welcome back to another DC rebirth discussion page. Well, Halloween has passed over and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Now that we are in November it means that the biggest event in the DC universe (Doomsday Clock) is just around the corner and I'm very excited to see what Geoff Johns has up his sleeve. Anyways, listed below are all the titles released under the Rebirth banner for this week.

Bane Conquest #7
Batman #34
Batman: The Devastator #1 (DC Metal Tie In)
Cyborg #18
Deathstroke #25
Green Arrow #34
Green Lanterns #34
Justice League #32 (DC Metal Tie In)
Nightwing #32
Superman #34

Titles That I Picked Up This Week:

Batman #34
Continuing off the events of the last issue. In this one we see the conjoined adventures of Batman and Catwoman as they confront Talia Al Ghul. I think this is the first time that Talia and Catwoman have actually met. At least since the new 52/Rebirth so that was kind of neat. Elsewhere in the issue Superman drops off Damian Wayne and Dick Grayson off in the country they are in and Damian talks shit to Superman. Overall this is a pretty good issue with a storyline that I look forward to reading more about.

Batman the Devastator #1 (DC Metal Tie-In)
Another Metal Tie-In. There's so many metal
Tie-ins that I'm overwhelmed at this point. There's so much going on that it's tough to keep up with but oh well. Anyways, In this story we get to learn about Doomsday Batman. I won't say much but it has to do with the Doomsday virus. At this point in Metal a lot of the one Shots are starting to mold together and I'm losing track of which ones were which. But, overall it's still a pretty decent issue with an intriguing premise.

Green Arrow #34
As i have stated before this run on Green Arrow has been really good. Great story telling and amazing art work. In this issue Oliver learns about his mother and how she is still alive. I feel really bad for Oliver at this point and for star city/Seattle. Ever since the beginning of this run everything has been taken away from him and just when you think things are looking up bad shit continues to goes down. It's a constant battle that goes on and makes for some great reading. If you haven't been reading Green Arrow I really recommend that you do.

Justice League #32 (DC Metal Tie-In)
Continuing off the events of last week's the flash #33. This is a continuation of the Days our of hell storyline. It's a short issue and it shows the various heroes (Aquaman, Flash, Wonder Woman, green lantern, etc) combating their Batman counterparts. This is a pretty short issue and it was neat to see the flash Batman use his gadgets. However if I had one complaint is would be the text used for the flash Batman's dialogue.

Look at how blurry that is! It's tough to make out what the flash Batman is saying. But, other than that the issue was fine and I'm curious to see where this storyline goes from here.

Superman #34
It feels good to be back on Apokolips. It's been so long since I've read an issue that's set there. Ok so let's talk about what I really liked in this issue. First, I loved seeing Granny Goodness Back. I also liked how Lois was at the beginning of this issue and where she ended up by the end of it. I thought that was pretty cool. The stuff with Lex Luthor is interesting and I've normally enjoyed everything with Jonathan Kent. I don't want to give much away. I think that you should just pick up the issue yourselves and let me know what you all think.

Anyways, that's going to wrap it up for this week. Be sure to let me know in the comments below about what you thought about this week's DC Rebirth titles and until next time have a nice day!
