Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter in my DC Comics Discussion Page. Well this was an interesting week for DC. As they announced that in January/February they're doing something called DC Future State which sounds like the whole DC 5G thing crammed into a 2 month period. But, not as terrible. This is dc experimenting with things and that has me a little nervous. I don't want to see every hero replaced with all new characters. I think this sounds a bit disastrous. So I'm a little cautious about it. Anyways, enough about future state let's talk this weeks comics.

This was kind of a strange note to end the book on. I don't know how to feel about this. I thought this 17 issue run was pretty well done all things considered but I don't think that it ended on the strongest of notes. But, it was still a run worth checking out.

Dark Nights: Death Metal #4:
If I'm being honest I'm kind of just power reading really quickly when it comes to death metal. I'm so burnt out by all these events by dc that i can't keep up anymore. I think we need a break from events. I also have a hard time keeping up with death metal. That's another thing. I wish the story was a little more simple.

Detective Comics #1028:
This was an interesting single issue set after Joker War. I feel like Detective Comics doesn't get the credit it deserves even though I think it's better than the main Batman book. I think it's just a better book. But, that's just me. Anyways, this issues ends by teasing the next arc which Damian is supposed to be in. I'm a little nervous about his character. But, if someone can fix the damage done it's Tomasi. So hopefully dc lets him fix the damage.
