Titles Released 1-2-2019 DC Pays a Nice Tribute To Stan Lee
Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter in my dc comics discussion page. Oh and happy new year! 2019 has arrived and it is time to talk some DC comics stuff. Are you excited for this year or are you like me and cautiously optimistic? Well let's see how DC turns out this year seeing how this is supposed to mark the end of the Doomsday Clock storyline. But, that's not going to end for.. well honestly I don't know. That book is taking way too long to finish up. But, anyways let's go ahead and talk about this week's issues. (Also, I skipped Heroes in Crisis. But, I hear bad things about it). Oh and read til the end for a nice tribute to Stan Lee.

Titles I Picked Up This Week:
Batgirl #30:
In this week's Batgirl (a book that has actually been really good since issue #25) Babs has to deal with drama between her father and a candidate running for office who is against the GCPD due to corruption. It makes for an interesting drama and it leaves wondering about which directions this book will go in. I definitely recommend picking up the run from issue #25 onward.
Batman Beyond #27:
Ok so this one was a nice issue. We get to see more of Terry and Ten's developing relationship as well as joker becoming joker beyond. (As a Batman Beyond fan I am so relieved that it's Ten instead of Dana. She was so much more interesting lol). Also, I'm very curious to see where this storyline goes. They did tease the death of robin coming up so I hope it doesn't happen. Regardless of everything Batman Beyond is one of the better series that dc is putting out right now and it worth checking out.
Detective Comics #995:
😢 RIP (famous Batman character). So far Tomasi has been delivering great content and unlike the deaths in Heroes in Crisis. This issues death had a lot of emotion and meaning behind it. Which i really appreciated. I also love how there's a good mystery to this and the fact that Damian is coming back to work with his dad again. (next issue probably). So as a fan I'm very excited to see where this goes. It's nice to read some great ongoing Batman content again.
Injustice vs Masters of the Universe #6:
This issue marks the end of this miniseries and I must say I did enjoy it. Although the ending did feel a bit too abrupt for my liking. But, it was still an intriguing read.
Raven, Daughter of Darkness #11:
The second to last issue. Before the final one comes out J plan on rereading all the other issues in this miniseries since I forgot a lot about what happened in it lol. But, it isn't too bad. I just wish I knew more about some of the characters involved so that I can get more invested in it. Lol.
Stan Lee Tribute:
Ok so lastly to end this update I wanted to comment about How DC paid tribute to the late great Stan Lee this week by posting this image at the end of every issue that was released. I know this is a DC book but Stan left such a great impact on the comic book industry and pop culture as a whole. On top of that he had such a great personality and just seemed like a genuinely nice guy. So kudos to DC for doing this. Anyways, thank you all for reading this. Let me know what you thought of this week's issues and I hope that you all have a wonderful day.
