Ok so with a landmark issue as grand at Detective 1000 I thought that I would post a few brief thoughts on each little story within the comic. I think it's incredible how we're at 1000 issues and i look forward to seeing where it all goes from here. So here we go.

"Batman's Longest Case" By Scott Snyder:
This was an interesting little story where Batman goes on a case that takes him years and he ends up in a guild with the world's greatest detectives. It's an interesting story but I don't get why these people didn't ask him to join their guild earlier. But, oh well.  It's still a good little story showcasing Batman's Detective Skills.

"Manufacture For Use" By Kevin Smith:
I really liked this one. It involves Batman using the the gun that killed his parents as a form of armored protection. I think that's a potentially very powerful storyline.

"The Legend of Knute Brody" By Paul Dini:
This one is interesting and has a bunch of villains discussing this dude named Knute Brody. I liked the art being in line with the animated series. That's pretty cool.

"The Batman's Design" By Warren Ellis:
Batman scares the shit out of criminal. That's all. Nice artwork. That's about it.

"Return to Crime Alley" By Denny O'Neal:
Leslie Thompkins is with Batman who fights some criminals and she calls him out for whatever reason. Pretty meh story.

"Heretic" By Christopher Priest:
Forgettable. That's about all I can say to this one.

"I Know" By Brian Michael Bendis:
Old Penguin knows Bruce Wayne is Batman. Rambles on about whatever nonsense and I don't care about this.

"The Last Crime In Gotham" By Geoff Johns:
I liked this one. We get to see a bit of a grown up Batfamily where Bruce, Selina, Damian, and I assume Helena Wayne are all in Gotham solving crimes together. It's was pretty cool and prolly my favorite part of the issue.

"The Precedent" By James Tynion IV:
This storyline was incredibly short and was really just Bruce talking with Alfred about dick becoming Nightwing.

"Batman's Greatest Case" By Tom King:
The best thing about this part was simply seeing the whole Batfamily together. That's all I really cared about. It was great to see them all together. That's the best thing about this. Yeah a lot of the characters aren't written the best. But, it's just nice to see them all in the same place.

"Medieval" By Peter J. TOMASI:
This issue is more of a prelude to the upcoming detective comics run and shows the arkham Knight ready to go for what's next. I have no clue what they're going to do with him. But, I'm still excited.

Now with that said this concludes the discussion on Detective 1000. I just wanted to give a few brief thoughts since I felt like it deserved it.
