You were going about your business at the office just like any other day. You loved being a Lawyer. You felt like you had some sort of power, to help people.

You'd been called in to defend none other than Ferris Aircraft. Someone who'd had a look at the jets sued them for having faulty safety gear within the jet.

Being the best at your job, Ferris Aircraft had asked you to defend them. And you accepted. But first you needed details, or else you'd have nothing to present with your case.

You went to the office to speak with the owner of Ferris Aircraft and one of his best pilots who knows a lot about the jets.

You entered the room and sat down at a table, across from the two men. "Hello gentlemen." You greeted, acknowledging each of them. Your eyes lingered on the younger one as he stared at you wide eyed and jaw dropping.

"Uhh. . . Is he alright?" You ask the older man. He looked at Hal. "HAL! Focus!" He nudged Hal in the arm and he snapped out of his thoughts. "Sorry boss."

You three talked and talked about important details and everything else related. Hal showed you pictures of the aircrafts safety mechanisms and you were convinced that they were indeed not faulty.

The time finally came for you to present your case at court. After a few hours of going back and forth with points on how the aircraft is completely safe, you finally won the case. . . as usual.

The jury left first as you gathered your papers into one pile, preparing to leave. Hal came up to you.

"Hey, thanks a lot for everything you just did." He thanked you, smiling warmly. "It's my job." You replied smoothly. "Well, your good at it." He smirked at you. A shade of pink lightly fell over your cheeks. "Thankyou." You replied whilst tucking a piece of hair behind your ear.

"Hey, I never did get your name." He continued. "Oh yes sorry my bad, for a little caught up in the case. (Y/n), (y/n) (l/n)." You introduced yourself, holding out your hand to formally meet properly. He shook your hand, "Hal Jordan."

"You remind me of someone I know." You hummed in thought. Hal's eyes went wide in fear as he scratched the back of his neck. "Whaaaaat?? Haha umm I guess I just have. . . One of those faces!" He said nervously. "Maybe." You replied tilting your head to the side still thinking about it.

"Anyways Bye! Nice meeting you!" He rapidly said before racing out of the courthouse. He couldn't stay any longer. What if you found out?!

You laughed at his behaviour and left the courthouse yourself.
