You were finishing up at the vets. You'd had quite a busy day.

Mrs. Jensen had come back looking for her lost cat. . . for the 67th time, not remembering that her cat had been found and was safely back at her house. Oh Mrs. Jensen.

But never mind you loved you job, adored it! Something about animals just warmed up your heart. Though, you'd never had a pet of your own.

You shut the blinds and flipped the 'open' sign around so it now showed 'closed'. You walked behind the counter and filed the papers away in their correct order and grabbed your bag heading out the back door.

As soon as you step foot outside a strong but short gust of wind came across you and when you reopened your eyes you were greeted by none other than the flash.

"Flash!" You said cheerily.

"Hey." He smiled back at you.

"What're you doing here? I mean, not that I don't enjoy your company, I was just wondering." You babbled as you locked the back entrance.

You heard him give a short chuckle before answering, "I uh wanted to ask you somethin."

"Sure thing!" You replied, a wide smile on your face. He sounded nervous but didn't look so nervous.

"You wanna go out with me?" He asked smiling.

Your eyes lit up in enjoyment and happiness, "Would I ever!!"

"Sweet!!" He cheered before fist pumping. "I'll, hm. . . Meet me here. . . Tomorrow. I'll do the rest." He explained the meeting arrangements.

You nodded your head after every detail, mentally noting them down.

"You headin straight home?" He asked.

"Yup!" You replied with a quick nod.

He looked around, "Where's your car?" He asked. "Oh, I walk home." You answered. He smiled immediately after. In the blink of an eye he ran and picked you up bridal style before appearing at your doorstep and letting you down.

"Here we are!" He said. "Thanks Flash." You thanked him before kissing him on the cheek lightly. He blushed lightly and got all giddy, you laughed at his behaviour before you walked into your house and waved goodbye to your red streak.
