Green Lantern, now in his Hal Jordan identity, was flying around in the new fighter jets that Ferris AirCraft had received.

He was told to talk the jet out for a fly for some very important business and military men to check out. They came to Ferris AirCraft to look at the new jets and see if they were what they wanted. So Hal and another young man who worked there took out two of the jets and flew around performing manoeuvres and displaying the different scientific things the jets computers can detect.

Hal was being his usual cocky self and doing all sorts of dangerous manoeuvres.

"Jordan! We want them to like the plane not your cocky personality! You're gonna blow this for me!" The boss of Ferris Aircaft said through the communication link. "Alright boss. I'll take it down a notch." Hal said whilst spinning the jet around about five times in the air. "NOT ENOUGH NOTCHES!!" His voice rang throughout the cockpit. Hal jumped and almost lost control of the fighter jet.

He growled and turned the comm link off, blocking out his voice. As he peacefully flew through the skies he unknowingly started daydreaming about you. Little figments of his imagination, he imagined your next date together he then started daydreaming about you two having a wedding it was only until his co-pilots voice rang through the comm-link.

"HAL?! WHAT'RE YOU DOIN THERE'S A CLIFF RIGHT AHEAD OF YOU! PULL UP!" He shouted desperately. Hal's eyes went wide and he quickly pulled the jet upwards dodging the cliff at the last minute.

Hal quickly landed the jet back at Ferris Air and jumped out. His boss then came storming up to him.

"HAL JORDAN OHHH YOU'RE REALLY ASKING FOR ME TO FIRE YOU?! YOU ALMOST BLEW UP OUR BILLION DOLLAR FIGHTER JET!!!" He shouted. "Buuuut I didn't." Hal replied back whilst taking his helmet off.

He bids was about to lose his cool before he finally decomposed himself. "You're lucky Jordan. Thanks to your stupidity the businessmen here today were impressed with the jets response time and how swiftly it moved out of the way." He explained. Hal smirked. "All part of the plan chief."

His boss rolled his eyes and walked off. That was when Hal could finally think about what just happened. He couldn't stop thinking about you.

He had strong feelings for you.
