Y/n p.o.v

I sat in the closet as I held onto my heart shaped locket. Mom and dad just won't stop it, they were fighting at the drop of the faucet. I put my hands over my ears I was talking to myself trying to block them out as I cried. I started screaming I wish words were just like little toy guns. No smoke, no bullet, no kick from the trigger when you pull it. No pain. No damage done. After they were done fighting they passed out in the living room from drinking. I got out my phone and text Goku to meet me at the park. I dragged myself there and he was waiting there for me. I ran up to him and started crying, he held me there in his arms rubbing my back. "Y/n what's wrong, is it your parents again?" He asked when I pulled away. I nodded and he looked down. "Listen I know how you feel, my parents always fight. Dad drinks heavily and mom hates it." He said as he kicked around some rocks. "I have a idea though." I told him and he looked me in my eyes waiting for me to tell him my plan. "We can run away together, you know and live together forever." I told him and he chuckled. "But we would need money and we're only 17 y/n." He said pulling me into a hug. "But if you really want to I'll stay with you and run with you." After he stated this he kissed my forehead and we started walking to my house. "So why were your parents fighting?" He asked with his hands in his pockets and leaning over as he walked. "Daddy came home drunk and mom, well she literally drugged herself up so bad to where she was on the verge on passing out. To be honest I don't want to be alone with them Goku." I told him as I clutched my heart shaped locket that had a picture of me and Goku in it. "Well you won't be lonely long, I'll stay with you for a while." He said and I seen daddy come out of the house and get in his car and drove off. "My dad must be leaving for the bar again." I told him as he put his arm around me. We walked inside and my mom was passed out on the couch with a needle beside her. "I honestly know how she can do that, I'm terrified of needles." Goku says as he held my hand as we walked to my room. I agreed with him and we walked into my room and shut the door. I yawned and Goku chuckled and hoped into my bed. "Come and lay down, I'll be protecting you." He said as he patted the empty spot beside him. "In the morning we'll pack our stuff and head out for wherever the world takes us." He said cuddling me as I laid beside him. "Do you think we'll be together forever?" I asked him and he laughed. "I have no reason to leave you y/n, you're everything I wanted." He said as I started falling asleep. I heard the front door shut and then screaming. I shot up and grabbed my blanket and threw it over goku because daddy would be to drunk to see him hiding under the blanket. Instead of him coming in here he stays out there. I snuck out into the hallway the leads to the living room and saw him slapping my mom telling her she needs to wake up. Goku stood behind me watching with me as she stood up, wobbling and then slapped daddy back. Goku covered my mouth so I wouldn't catch their attention as they fought. "Lets go pack your stuff... now." Goku whispered and we hurried in my room and threw what we wanted onto the bed. "I'm scared Goku." I told him and he pulled me close to him. "You'll be fine I'm here with you." He said then let go as we finished packing. We walked back out and peaked out into the living room as we see my parents still are fighting. "You should be home more and not drinking, then maybe I wouldn't be like this!" Mother screamed as father was enraged with anger from her. "When I married you, you weren't some worthless druggie but look at you." He spat back pushing her backwards. She shoved back and that's when he reached into his back pocket. He pulled out a gun and Goku saw it too. He pulled me close to him and covered my mouth. Daddy looked and smiled at mom then shot her. Then he looked into our direction but we turned the corner just in time then when we peaked back around daddy put the gun to his head and shot himself. I screamed and goku went and grabbed my bag and we darted out of the house to his. We went in and he packed his stuff as his parents fought. We snuck out and headed out of town. I still have nightmares from that day and Goku has stood by my side. Best choice we ever made.
