Cosplay!Trunks x Cosplay!Reader

Y/n p.o.v

I stood in the middle of the room, people crowded as it was shoulder to shoulder. A party had been going on for the past few hours, a costume party to consume each other's identity. I slowly made my way through the crowds to the table with drinks. This was the largest party that capsule Corp has thrown yet. As I grabbed a drink, a male approached me. His hair black, wearing a brown jacket, the same size as Trunks but with a different logo on it. The white pants and boots, the cloth tucked in between his dress shirt and jacket. He was handsome. He noticed me, and shot me a smile, walking over to me. "How are you enjoying the party?" His voice sounded so familiar, I couldn't exactly say who's it was though. "It's great, I was thinking about getting out of here though." He frowned, putting his hand out. "How about a dance first?" I nodded quietly. I had dressed up that year as Toga from My Hero Academia. He eyed the costume and blonde wig, then pulled me out with him onto the dance floor. A few fast songs played as we danced together, not really caring for the people around us. Then a slow song came, he pulled me in close to him. His strong Cologne came off his chest as he laid his chin on my head. "You never told me your name," I smiled. "It's Y/n," He smiled. "What about you?" I looked up at the male, his eyes grey. "Um, you know what? You can just call me Levi." I nodded, we swayed to the music together.

After the song had ended, we decided to go outside and get some air. "So, where are you from?" He asked, looking at his feet. "I'm from West City, how about you?" He crosses his arms, "my home was taken from me." I started to feel bad for the poor guy, but something about his persona he was playing up seemed all too familiar. "Would you by chance, perhaps come back to my place?" I gave a laugh, "I think I'd rather get out of these clothes first." He gave a smirk, "I'll go ahead and grab mine, just get changed at your place." I nodded. He left for a few minutes before returning with a duffle bag. We walked to my house, it was silent. "So, Levi. Are you from around here?" He gave a chuckle, "yeah." We got to my house, he entered with me. I kept my mace in the bathroom with me just in case he tried anything.

I finished changing and seen the brown jacket on my bed. A note laid on top of it.

My dear, I needed to go so I left you this. I hope to see you again soon, and maybe you'll know the true me.

I pushed the jacket aside on my bed and crawled into bed. I fell asleep, wondering where this man could of went.

I went to capsule Corp the next day, I had a job interview to work as the secretary until I graduated college. I stopped at the front desk, getting my paperwork to fill out. After turning it in, I saw a blue haired female pulling along a male with black hair. He looked exactly like the male who went home with me. "Losing another jacket, you know I can't just keep buying them!" She was yelling at him, she then looked at me. He saw me and waved, they both came over to me. "You seem to know my son?" I observed the male who stood before me, in the exact clothing as last night. "Yeah, Levi wasn't it?" The woman started laughing, then gave a big smile. "You're hired, I love this!" She walked away as he looked away with a blush. "Alright, come with me." He gestured, having me follow him to his room.

After entering, he started taking out the contacts. My eyes widened as the grey ones weren't real. He changed out of the white clothing into a pair of blue pants and a black tank top. Finally, he scrubbed out the black hair dye, his hair turning to purple after he finished. He was a complete different person after scrubbing everything off. "I was pretending to be someone else last night." He broke the silence, sitting beside me. "I wanted someone to like me, just this once. So, I pretended to be just like captain Levi. I figured you would of caught on because you were dressed as Toga but I guess not." He didn't look at me, "I guess, you want to leave right? I'm not the handsome guy you met at the party last night so why wouldn't you?" I smiled, "you're a lot better than what you looked last night." He blinked a few times, then looked at me. "Really?" I nodded, he finally smiled. "Plus, you were a sweetheart to me. You can't tell me that's not your true self." He blushed, my hand touched his hair. "Plus, I like your purple hair more anyways." He pulled me into a hug, "thank you." His whisper came out rough. "For what?" I was giving him a questioning look. "For giving me the hope I needed. I needed to do was find you."
