Useless and weak

Well, then time to start this.

ONWARDS!!!

//////////////////////////////

I was surrounded and out-numbered. The faces of the men I saw made it look like they were hungry, and I was on the menu. Their Low laughs and grinning faces made know what was going to happen to me if they fully captured me. My chances of escaping were starting to look dim. Xander still held me in place with his arms even with me struggling with all my might I could not move.

"Stop struggling, it makes it easier for the both of us," Xander said, but I didn't listen. I still tried to wiggle my arms out from his, I pushed and pulled but it was no use he was too strong. It was then until the first man that touched me was when I made my escape. One of the crewmates reached for me but as they did I bit his arm, hard. He let out a loud scream the sudden noise made Xander lose a small grip on me enough for me to break free.

I squeezed through the small openings in the crowd and got a fair distance away from them. They chased and pounced on me but they missed me. I ran straight into a place where I can hide, at least buy some time. I heard their shouts and heavy footsteps behind me, terrified I ran. I passed many halls and rooms and slowed down until the voices of the men had faded and I couldn't hear them anymore.

I took the moments of silence to catch my breath. It didn't last long when I heard a voice in the distance. I cursed under my breath and separated myself from the voice in a nearby room. I heard footsteps a few feet away from the door, I held my breath.

"Damn where did she go?" a voice said.

"I'm not sure, we lost her." another stated.

"Let's keep looking she can't be that far."

And with that, they disappeared. I exhaled and slid down the door to the floor, I was safe. My body felt heavy, my lungs burned and my head felt light. All of my energy and stamina was gone from that one chase. Light came from a window in the room and I could see the day fading away.

I stay that spot and daze at the window not really thinking of anything. My foot Shifted and nudged a crate. I snapped from my daze and looked at the large wooden box in front of me. I examined it and notice the lid was missing. looking inside the box was large enough to fit a person.

looking to the side of the room I saw more crates. 'Ah, that's how they got on board without anyone knowing' I thought. I looked inside the box again and I saw something inside, it was a flag, a Ships flag coming from its' size. The flag had a distinct eye in the center of the flag, It had snakes on it, and it was colored of gold. I realized the flag had symbols of the kingdom Heilohapt on it.

That got me thinking, am I on the ship Heliotrope? If this is, then the other ship had to be Mimosa from Imchukk. That would also mean that the reports were lies too. I kinda felt stupid now, all of this danger was for nothing, going on the ship was for nothing to begin with. What am I suppose to do now, I'm stranded here.

One thing's for sure, I had to move to a new spot. I won't be safe here for long, It's only in time that they'll find me here soon enough. I took a peek outside the door when I didn't hear any voices I left the room.

//////////////////////

I was in the hold of the ship, where barrels and crates of all shapes and size lay here. Oddly enough the hold felt hot, humid just like it was this afternoon. The ship wasn't running on an engine so what made the heat in the room. Sweat ran down from my forehead and stuck my clothes to my body. I made an effort to cool myself by fanning myself but it was useless.

I sat down, wandering around the ship took it out on me. I was restless, anxiety clung on to me like a weight. It must have been a few hours since I got on this blasted ship and that was bad, the more I stayed here the more I was farther to home. I cursed, maybe Xander was right, coming here was a mistake. What I could do now, there was nothing else to do.

Just when I was about to leave I heard footstep pairs coming down the stairs to the hold. I dove over some barrels for some cover. A light came into the room and I was afraid to move. I heard Noah's voice

"Where the hell can she be? We checked the ship from top to bottom and she's still nowhere to be seen."

"Need I remind you there are places she can hide and run to." the voice sounded like Cron.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever let's just look for her already." Footsteps litter the room sending me on edge. I could feel my heart trying to jump out my chest.

"Looks like she's not here, let's go somewhere else," Cron said.

"You've got to be kidding me,"Noah whined. I heard their footsteps go up the stairs and the door closed shut. I breathe out a sigh and got up. That was too close for comfort.

I need to hide again It's too risky to stay here again and I can't tolerate the heat in the room. When I opened the door, I was jumped and pinned downed.

"Looks like the little mouse got caught, Nice plan Cron," Noah said as he sat on top of me. "Should we bring her back?" he said to Cron

"We should, the Captain will be happy now that we finally caught her."

"Do you think we'll get more dinner if we show him the girl?"

"Maybe, don't get your hopes up, the captain seems to be ill-tempered ever since this happened," He referred to me. "Come on, let's bring her up." Cron bound my wrists with cloth and pulled me up with the help of Noah. My arms were tied in front of me, they felt heavy, like shackles, I felt like a prisoner. They brought me back up back to the deck of the ship where they called the rest of the crew with a bell.

It was no longer a humid day, but rather a chilly night. Groups of men came on deck one by one all seemed tired from the goose chase I made. Cron made me kneel on my knees and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Congrats on finding the girl, boys." I looked up and saw Muir in front of me, he knelt down to me and grabbed my face, oh how much I wanted to rip him into pieces after all the things he did to me.

"What should we do with her captain?" Noah asked.

"I'd say just end her here, She's already put us in enough trouble, captain," Cron said his Voice sounded tired and irritated The crew seems to agree as well with a couple of yeses and nods.

"I couldn't agree more," Muir stood up and pulled out a Cutlass and pointed at me. Cron and Noah moved out of the way for Muir. He raised the cutlass in the air and letting it fall towards me, I made a futile move to protect myself by raising my arms to my face.  When the sword impacted my arms I felt nothing. All I heard was the wooden deck being stabbed and heard something else clashing against the sword.

With eyes struggling to open to see what happen I saw the face of Muir and others, faces that were either shocked, confused or both. I glanced at my arms and I didn't have any sight or feeling of blood. As the cloth from my hands fell to the floor, my body fell too. If my arms didn't come to my aid in supporting myself I would've fallen face first to the wooden deck. Hair fell in front of my face and I panted heavily. I heard voices in the background and something tugged my hair.

"What did you do?" Muir stated in a low, growling voice.

I answered in a weak voice, "What do you mean..." He gripped my hair harder.

"Don't play with me, how do you not have a scratch on you," he said. he was practically making me stand on my feet with his grip.

"Like I said I don't know what you are talking about,"  I growled and put my hands where his hands were.  With enough strength, I stood on my own and thrust my head forward to his, hitting his nose. He let go of my hair and took a few steps back.  Putting his hands on his nose he saw blood on his hand when he moved it away.

"You little bitch!" He cursed and dashed to me. surprising enough I was able to dodge the perries, thrusts, and slashes he made. "Come back here!" he shouted and ran at me wildly with his sword. At this point I just ran away from him, he was insane!

My body felt the lack of energy and fatigue again, I felt one of my legs giving out making me fall on the railing of the ship. Lungs burning and feeling light-headed I didn't have enough time to turn around and dodged Muir's foot that stomped on my back. He made me hit my chin and chest against the railing and it hurt like hell. he grabbed my hair again and I yelped. I put my fingers on his, trying to pry off his hands away from my hair again. Tears pricked my eyes and I felt my cries choke in my throat as pull me towards him.

"I always knew you were trouble," he whispered to me in my ears,  "I should've gotten rid of you when I had the chance," he pulled my body over the railing. I saw the blue ocean below me, wind and water splashed on my face. "It's a good thing that you came on the ship, that way you won't be in my way anymore."

With all his might he hurled me over the railing and into the water, I saw Muir's silver hair a final time before he walked away. I looked over my shoulder and I forgot one crucial information when I was on the ship. As I saw the distance between me and the ocean I realized that I can't swim. I felt the impact of the water on my back and felt darkness surrounding me.
