"You lovebirds done already in there? We gotta move. They'll be expecting us soon!" Todd yells.

Blushing slightly, I open the door. "You know it's lucky we found this place. We'd probably be dead.." I chuckle, rubbing the back of my head awkwardly.

Joseph walks out the room, rucksack in one hand and medical things in the other, packing everything into the bag and throwing it over his shoulders. "Todd's right. We don't want to be struck like that again, we better hope they didn't stay around for us."

Once we finally grabbed all our things we took one last look around the house. Walking into a bedroom, I found the bed covered in blood, on the night stand was a picture of a family. Mum, dad and 2 siblings. I thought about my own family. How I had to leave them...

"Sam let's go" Brooke called out. Knocking me out of my trace state. We searched the rest of the house to find a few extra supplies, finally exiting through the front door cautiously.

Nothing to be seen apart from all the debris and destruction caused from the beginning.

Brooke spoke up in a hushed voice "Where did they all go?"

We all shrug. Carefully heading out of the house, only to find, in fact there was nothing. They had all gone.

Not thinking much of it we went on our way. Making our treacherous way back to camp.

The camp luckily wasn't too far from where we were. It wasn't very big. Only a few people were there. We mostly were there for our friends who were within. Total of 5. All from college. It was our little gang. That was until we went our separate ways after college after that we were all talking on and off. Too busy working and living, we kinda grew apart. The only reason we're all together again is because of this situation. The walkers.. You know?

Finally arriving back to camp looking outside the massive gates, all run down and messed up but still great. It keeps them out and us safe so it's the best we got. We greet Zack and Jasper that's on top of the towers. They were always the strongest and most protective of our group and apparently out of the citizens inside as well.

"Finally back then I see? Get anything good?" Jasper chirped up.

"Eh, just a few medical things and food and such. Better than last time at least." Todd shrugs. It'll last for a little bit but definitely not enough. We need to be searching in a bigger group to get more things.

Jasper and Zack open the gates. They gently creak as the doors swing open. Finally revealing the place inside. Now. It's not the best looking place, and sure as hell isn't big enough yet but we're getting there.
