Cruel Master
I took a towel and dried my wet skin, that was forcibly put into the cold water by Archer. I scold at the thought of him, for a servant he sure didn't mind getting his own master sick. "Hmph! I'll need to teach him a lesson later!" I say, drying my silky black hair.
After I dried myself up, I took my red jacket and white shirt, slipping it on my body and prepared to go downstairs and give my troublesome servant a piece of my mind. I walked down the wooden steps of my house, the old wood giving out from my weight, and whining under my feet, making it sounded extra loud to intimidate Archer.
"Archer!!" I call out his name with a sharp tone, making sure he could hear me. I don't want him pointing out that I'm too small for him and that's why he can't hear me half the time. I grit my teeth, I know it's just him trying to ignore me. I continue to walk down the stairs, "Archer, I will not forgive you this morning!! Nope!! Not at all!!" I say walked down the hall to the kitchen, but seeing that he wasn't cooking.
Archer was there, but he wasn't cooking.
He was on the floor with his hand over his head, as if he was in pain.
I already stopped my yelling speech, but now I instantly regret it. And my regret turned into worry when I saw him at such a state. Did someone attack him? "ARCHER!!" I yelled, running over to him. My knees hitting the tiled floor next to the spot where he had crouched down in pain.
"Archer! What happened?" I said, putting my hand over his, that was covering his face. Touching the hand as I tried to pull it away. Only to see that there was no wound but he had a tense look on his face. What was causing him pain?
"Are you alright?" I asked him, my hand still wrapped loosely around his.
"God, no." he hissed, but the pain seemed to soften a bit. "Don't worry too much about it Rin."
I look up at him, "Let's get you on the couch, alright?" Without waiting for his reply, I put my arm around and under his arm trying to help him up. He was a lot heavier than I thought he was, but the living room was a couple feet away. So I walked him a couple of steps, before dumping him onto the couch.
I huffed, sweat running down my neck, "And I just took a shower." I look towards him hand still on his head. "Should I call a doctor? But he's a servant they won't know what's wrong with him." I sighed, trying to think of something to help him, the guilt of yelling at him started to creep back.
"Maybe I should call Shirou..." I whisper under my breath. Archer instantly yelled, "NO!!" I almost jump from the sudden response.
"Ugh!!" he flinches from the pain, "That guy will give me more of a headache."
I bent down to reach his height since he was resting on the couch. "Then what do you suppose we do?" I asked him.
Archer shakes his head, "Don't do anything, I'll be fine. It'll just go away like it always does."
The last part catches my attention. "Like it always does?" I say, repeating his words in question as I tilt my head to the side in curiosity. "Are you saying that this has happened many times!!" I asked in panic.
Archer flinches from my response, but just sighs and says "It's not a big deal..."
I stood up surprising him and even myself. "Yes it is!!" I yelled, not taking my eyes off of his. "What happens when I'm in trouble and you can't come because you're too busy having a headache at the side! HUH!? What happens when we actually win the war, get the grail and you can't come, because you thought it was good decision to brush it aside!!" I finally say, my words exploding out of my mouth. I finally catch a breath, satisfied seeing his stunned face. "I'm just worried of what will happen to you...."
Archer's stunned look, soon melts into a soft smile. As if the pain had been driven out, "Wow... really didn't expect that from you, Rin..." he whispers, his lip curling even more.
His response makes my cheeks flush and my heart race. "Ack!!" stuttering over my words from his flattery. "Hmph!!" I say crossing my arms. "I only needed you to shut up about whining from not wanting to see the doctor!!" I take a quick glance at Archer, catching his stare on me.
Archer smirks when he catches my eye, "And I here I thought my master actually cared about me." he chuckles, "You really are cruel." he says folding his arms.
I smile, "I am cruel, but that makes me a perfect master for you!!" I flip my black hair, seeing him roll his eyes at me. "You better get use to it!!"
