Atlas pov

Why the fuck are you calling me" I spoke into the phone this all felt like a game for her entertainment. "Your in trouble Atlas" it was quiet before she continued, "you need to leave and stay somewhere safe he's coming for you and your girl" she hung up.

What the actual fuck. She fucking shoots me now she's leaving odd voice mails and calls me, being weird I can't trust her it could be a trap. I tired ringing her back but she never answered.
I make my way to the living room where everyone was sat talking in hushed voices. Roman notices me first "something has come up" they all turn to look at me.
"Where's Anisah"
"She's with Manny outside in the garden we wanted to distract them both" Bear spoke up, he seems to be really protective over the two of them which I appreciated. Roman walked over to me handing me a red envelope one me and Manny knew all too well. "He's invited us to a charity event, well especially you and Anisah."
I took in the invitation, this was a way me and Arthur used to lure in politicians and anyone who go in our way, it seemed as though I'm the next target. How funny. How the tables have turned not for long though.

"I got a call from Nia"

"Again" Zion stood up, "what the fuck are they up to what did she say?"

"Another warning, we need to have our guard up at this party it is in just three days get security for Anisah and Manny they are our number one priority understood"

"Does this mean we go back to our old ways" bear said agitated ," we all agreed to leave that life behind"
He was right, "I know trust me I know but right now he's up to something and we will put an end to this once and for all".

"I'll help" Noah said "I'm doing this for my sister and for you Atlas I know what he's done to you Zion and Manny I'll help you"
"So will I" the rest of the guys agreed.

"I'm serious about Anisah i want to marry her I want a family with her but Arthur needs to be gone for that to happen"
For the next hour we cooked up a plan we would all go to the charity function but Anisah and Manny will not be alone not for a single second. "So Atlas I may or may not have have seen you looking at engagement rings online" Roman muttered side eyeing me.
"Why the fuck can't any of you idiot mind your own business"

"It's not nice to call people idiots it can lower their self esteem" of course Bear the scariest of all would be scolding me.
"Shut up your a teddy bear" that got Noah a slap from bear, "don't call me that" noah rubbed the back of his head "oh so when Anisah calles you it it's fine but when I do I get hit" Bear glared at him "Anisah can call me anything" he winked at me.

"Ooh looks like everyone's trying to steal her from you Atlas me personally I wouldn't take that" said the hypocrite himself Zion Sterling.

"You wouldn't take what" spoke a beautiful voice from behind me. And there she stood the most beautiful women in the world no exaggeration. "Hello gorgeous" she came and took a seat on my lap.

Holy fucking shit she's sitting on my lap.

Zion was raising his eyebrows at me being weird. I gave my girl a kiss.
"Eew get a room seriously guys im a child" manny came in and sat in between Zion and bear who pulled his cheeks. "Ouch get off me teddy, so what secret are you guys keeping" Anisah looked at me raising a brow. "Are you going to say anything or just stare at me."

Silence

Even more silence

"HEY" I jolted at her loud voice which was right in my ear. "Good god women are you trying to make me deaf" she slapped my arm. "Stop staring at me you creep and tell me this secret"

"My father invited us to a charity event." She laid her head back against my chest, "is that it, why do you all look so tense"

"Because we have reason to believe he wants to hurt you Anisah" Noah's dumbass spoke up"
"Oh really wow I feel special"
My little idiot.

"Seriously you need help" Zion had a worried look on his face, "what's the old man going to do shoot me" they all looked at her before simultaneously saying "yes" she's so cute.

I wonder if she wants to have kids sometime in the future. "But why would he want me dead" Bear sat up, "he's got this obsession over Atlas, and now that your here Atlas only focuses on you."

Her hair smells a so nice like flowers or something sweet. "He's right darling it's in three days so we need to buy you a dress and you are not to be away from any of us clear?" Noah was acting like a dad.  "Crystal".

I never knew brown eyes could be so captivating, so cute and pure my sweet girl. "What about Manny who's going to protect Manny" the younger boy smiled at her compassion towards him. "Don't worry about him Bears going to be with Manny." She's absolutely gorgeous.

I am so ruined.

"Can you guys even fight I thought you were just business men" everyone paused. "For fucks sake Atlas stop daydreaming about Anisah shes literally right there!". Is it too early t0 propose. "What a creep look at the way he's smiling"

"Emanuel sterling shut your mouth" I sat up 'damn full name' Zion whispered to Noah who nodded sheepishly at Manny. Pulling Anisah closer to me "calm down bimbo".

"Who are you calling bimbo baby" Anisah gave me a teasing smile "I associate every blonde with bimbos" she's so funny to me I cracked at her smile her humour always had to do something with making fun of me and if it was anyone else they would be bruised up now but I can't help but want to devour her.

She's gotten more plump and curvy these days. I see the way she stares at herself in the mirror with a frown so almost ever night I have to fuck the insecurities out of her which of course I don't mind.
"Don't ever call me bimbo again" I slap her ass and she glares at me, so darn sexy.
"I have your name saved as that in my contacts so too late" she snuggled into my chest. "But seriously I thought you guys were just businessmen so why are hits getting put out in me and you"

The dreaded talk I didn't want to have with her "not Atlas darling just you" Noah told her.
"Oh wow yeah that makes everything better" she replied back these two acted like siblings.

"Before I had my own business we all worked for the Sterling empire but now we have Monarch inc and during then there would be lots of competition and with the way I was raised we got taught how to eliminate certain threats"

She got up from my lap and stood in front of me with her hands on her hips.
"So that man I saw from my apartment window was he one of those threats" I looked into her  pretty eyes no fear in sight, "I thought you didn't see anything that night" she rolled her eyes, "Atlas I'm being serious"
"He wasn't a threat more like a lose end that I had to eliminate" she sat back on her rightful, seat my lap.
"Damn your all killers then, shit that makes sense no rich man is a saint"
"I am" bear spoke up.
"But your so cute baby Bear how could you ever kill someone let me guess hug them to death"

Zion almost choked on his drink and everyone else burst out laughing while Bear his his face behind his hands. "This man was ruthless back in the day but it's wasn't a life we liked, we just wanted something for our selves and thats why we are all so close and so lucky to have one another"
"I hope this doesn't change anything between us doll" I whispered into her ear. "I still love you but you should've told me before, I'm scared Atlas" I picked her up and she wrapped her hands around my waist and I carried her to the kitchen. 

Needing some space from the guys.

"I never valued my life until I met you I didn't care when or how I would die, but now I want to live I want a future with you if I lose you I'd love half my soul maybe even more"

I placed my forehead against her and kissed her nose. "Nothing will separate us I will find you in ever lifetime understood doll" she nodded before kissing me. "He won't win this fight"

The rest of the night we spent in each others arms and getting teddy for this stupid charity ball.
