POV Elsa

“Hi Astrid!” I see how Punzie goes handing her hand to a blonde furious looking girl. The girl named Astrid doesn’t take her eyes off from Hiccup who she stares like cheap piece of meat. “What did you do to her?” I hear how Jack whisper’s to Hiccup who is just moaning silently.

A white bull terrier paced to the room and growled to Toothless. “Calm down Storm, Toothless isn’t the problem.” Astrid went to pet her dog’s head. The dog had a blue collar saying ‘Stormfly’ with silver letters running on the surface. “Sweet dog,” Punzie grinned and tried to pet the dog also but quickly did otherwise when it showed her teeth. Immediately Punzie jumped onto Jack’s neck which made him gasp.

“So how are you?” Hiccup asked in a slow way, almost like he was talking to an idiot. “You dare to come back after breaking our engagement!” Hiccup exhaled loudly and his head bended fast towards ground and back to stare at Astrid. He pointed her, “You think that I really wanted it?”

Astrid’s face shows signs of shock and her dog starts to watch her. “Really Astrid? I mean we once were friends as kids but you wanted to really be part of my dads mafia? And I wanted to be a police?” He shook his head, “Never would have worked out.”

“But!” Astrid tried to say something but Hiccup shook his finger in the air, “No Astrid. Besides I don’t like arranged marriages.” Hiccup crossed his arms and seemed satisfied. I knew now that this is going to end up badly. I watched keenly to Astrid and saw from corner of my eye how Jack and Hiccup made a high five in the air. First Astrid seemed lost but soon her breathing changed to fast and fury was filling her.

“Umm.. You guys?” I tried to get their attention and then Astrid ordered her dog to attack. It bit Hiccup’s hand which was gladly protected with suit. However more dogs were coming to that bunker room and 4 men stepped inside. “Ruffnut, Tuffnut, Snoutlout and Fishlegs!” Hiccup gasps. The dogs surround us, growling.

One tries to bite my leg but Jack pushes it away with his staff. “Hey! Cool down already!” I scream when an aggressive looking dog jumps on top of Jack and drools over him. Jack tries to push it off put it’s teeth press to his staff. Punzie tries to pull it off. In the meanwhile Toothless is struggling with Astrid’s dog, trying to get it off from Hiccup. The growling is bizarre.

“Stop this. Now.” Merida has been silent until now, I see how she is pointing at Astrid with her crossbow loaded. “This is insane! We can’t fight!” I yell and immediately Merida releases the bolt. It hits the wall behind of Astrid. “Next one won’t miss,” Merida says coldly. Astrid whistles and the dogs return to their owners.

“Your dad is so disappointed in you, Hiccup Haddock,” Astrid snaps. “Well. I didn’t ask to be the son of the boss of mafia!” Hiccup snaps back and turns around. “Alright, awkward,” Merida whistles. “Get away from my bunker Astrid!” I hear how Astrid’s heels hit the ground when she leaves the bunker and goes to elevator.

“Finally!” Hiccup starts to go through his stuff. “Some nail bombs, knives, gas and axes and.” His eyes start to shine in a freakish way. I decide to leave the room and so does everyone else. It is like a child in candy store or a twisted minded child going through a toy box filled with tools for war.

POV Hiccup

I look closely at one of my ten shotguns. Nice but not as cool as my collection of flamethrowers. I have small, medium sized and big ones. Big one I can use as a back bag, medium sized to hold in my arms and the small one is basically a spray can that I have taped a lighter on. I chuckle and smile when I found a morning star, “Oh, this one I got last Christmas!” Someone clears throat behind of me.

It is Merida and she pouted her head while watching me. “You know that you scare even me when you’re so happy with your collection?” I laugh, “Yeah but I really love them. Besides you should be happy that I’m well prepared for Apocalypse!” She rolled her eyes and sighed.

She keeps staring at me when I arrange the weapons, what we should take, what we don’t need and what is a maybe to keep. “Hiccup,” she says silently. “Yup?” I say and put a chinese sword to the not to keep pile. “What your dad is like?” I stop what I am doing and Toothless stands against my chest and starts to lick my face.

“Stop it boy!” I laugh and fall to my butt. “Well?” She is almost ordering me and my laughter stop like it has hit into wall. I stare at her and roll my eyes to her, watching to other direction. “Don’t want to talk about it,” I simply respond. She sighs again.

We hear Jack fooling around with Punzie and Elsa. He is telling a bad joke and Punzie laughs like crazy. Our silence breaks when Merida puts her crossbow to ground. “Listen. I have issues with my mum too. She wants me to be more girly and serious, to settle down.” She kneels next to me, “Tell me.”

I glance at her and see her determined glare from her almost turquoise blue eyes. I feel uncomfortable. “Umm,” is everything I can say. ”She makes me wear dresses and to knit. Do I look like a fancy princess?” She smirks and makes me laugh. ”Well, my father wants me to be the new head in his mafia. I don’t want to. I want to be a head police officer or crime investigator!” I smirk to her and her eyes are wide open.

“Don’t worry. My dad isn’t that bad when you get to know him.” I nod to the direction where Astrid and her gang went, “those aggressive people were my friends once but we grew apart.” She smiles faintly, “A son of Mafioso?” I nod to her.

“You sure have interesting history,” she laughs nervously. I rise up and wipe the dust from my assault suit and correct the position of my chest plate, “Yup.” Someone coughs at the door. It is Jack who smirks cockily. “Sorry to interrupt you love birds but we need to sleep somewhere,” I see how Merida gets a throwing knife from the table and she aims at Jack. The knife hits Jack’s staff. I see Jack’s eyes narrowing and he hisses to Merida, “That was overreacted!”

I try to hold my laugh. “So, let’s go to my place!” I state cheerfully and everyone seems confused when we are in the living room. “Um..this is your place?” Elsa asks shyly. I shook my head to sign no. ”This is my dad’s. Mine is one storey down. This building is meant for his workers and for me.” I wave my hand towards the elevator, “Please take all the weaponry we need and step in the lift calm and in order.” I smile and Jack gets my joke, he pats my back while he passes me. He holds a bag filled with armory.

However the girls pass me glancing me weirdly. “Let’s go home Toothless!” He barks and we enter the elevator. “Next stop Hiccup’s crib!” I wink my eye to them and Jack laughs happily. Elsa takes some distance to me but she startles when she touches Jack accidentally. I see a mischievous smirk on Jack’s face for few seconds. The elevator doors open and I go inside Jack runs past me and jumps over my couch and sits on it. “Whoa what place!” He leans himself back and touches the back support of the couch. I laugh, “Glad that you like it!” Elsa is walking in my living room where the elevator doors open. She accidentally knocks down a human sized glass figurine which shatters to trillions of pieces.

“I am so sorry,” she gasps and I look at the small pieces. “That. Is. Alright.” I say when I actually feel shocked about it, ”Cheer up.” Merida hits me on my back and the last breath runs from me. “That was a bit rough,” my breath whistles as I tell it to her and she laughs. “Don’t be a wussy!” I show her my tongue and her eyes flash to fury. Quickly I retreat and see light in my bedroom.

“Punzie!” I exhale as she is going through my stuff. She is on my drawing board, “What are these?”  She holds a piece of paper holding my latest invention. “That is personal!” I snap and grab it back. ”Yeah dude, what are these?” Jack holds now other paper against the working light. I sigh, “Mine!”

Punzie storms off to somewhere and almost knocks Elsa down on her way. “What is happening here?” Elsa looks at us. Suddenly someone screams in my bathroom, ”WHAT IS THIS!” Oh crap.

Jack walks to the bathroom, ”Um..are you obsessed or something?” He looks at the walls and leans to the doorway with his elbow. “Wha-“ Elsa goes behind of him. They’re seeing it now, my collection of pictures. There are the pictures that hold my idols who are the best athletes. They could defeat anyone in my mind. I wanted to be like them.

“Ahem..Autographs anyone?” I say cheerfully. Merida glances me madly, she was the one to scream. Every other wall is decorated with pictures of them all except the shower wall. Jack goes inside and I try to stop him. He turns around, “What more could you have to hi..hide,” his eyes nail to the wall on the left side of the toilet. I clear my throat when he pulls his hand from me.

He laughs, “So you’re fangirling me?” My eyes widened from shock, “No that is NOT it!” He messes my hair, “Cool down bro!” Elsa comes inside giggling now and seeming more secure than before. ‘Oh crap’ I sneer and wait for the reaction. There it goes. Elsa gasps now since she was the one to recognize the actual cause why I stop Jack.

“W-why have you got a picture with me and HIM together?” She points at Jack who narrows his eyes and stares at the picture that I have. “Uh.. I did some photo editing. You should date,” I smile to them insecurely. Elsa waves her hand quickly in the air and she almost cuts me with her blades that are tied to her arms. “NO! He is annoying! And I had never heard of him before!”

Jack glares at her angrily, ”Hey. That was unnecessary and mean!” Merida pushes me against the wall, “Take them off!” I sigh and promise to do so. At the same moment Punzie comes to my bathroom door. “Whoa! You guys! Everyone needing to use the toilet at the same time? I think you should wait?” Everyone gives her angry stares and she laughs nervously. She plays with her overlong blonde hair, brushing her fingers through it. “Umm..just wanted to let you know that dinner is ready.”

Oh. She had been cooking in my kitchen, well first time for everything. Now my kitchen is not a virgin anymore! I try to leave the bathroom after the girls but Merida pushes me back and I hit to Jack who was coming behind of me. “Take those pictures out, now!” She orders and I nod. Jack’s hand is on my shoulder, ”I can help you.”

We took the pictures out. When he thought that I wasn’t watching he stuffed one picture to his pocket. I wonder which one. After that we went to eat, Punzie served all of us eggs and bacon. For dinner. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Breakfast for dinner, my favorite! She even did a dog friendly portion to Toothless and he ate it happily hitting his tail to ground.

“Here you go,” Punzie sounded sweet when he gave Jack his plate. Everyone else had their egg crumble in the form of flower but Jack’s reminded more of a heart in my mind. He just thanked and started to eat. Maybe it was nothing?

“So, where do we sleep or how we divide the sleeping places?” Elsa was just playing with her fork, not eating. “We girls take the bed!” Merida stated, Jack went to sit on the couch. ”I like this place.” He smirked.

“I can take the blow mattress.” I smiled to everyone. Elsa was moving restlessly, ”I will go with the floor.” Jack stood up, “No you won’t. You take the couch if you don’t want to sleep in that tight place. I am used to floors anyway,” He lays down in the floor behind of the couch and rests his head against his arms. Elsa sits on the couch and leans over its edge to look behind.

Punzie and Merida went to my bedroom. Lucky Toothless got a place in the bed with them. Soft place. Oh well, I just blow some air to my mattress and it is super. I go to my closet to get it and I hear the conversation between Elsa and Jack. “What do you mean you’re used to it?” Elsa asks from him. Jack glances at her, ”Long story. To summarize I haven’t had a home in years.” After saying that he closes his eyes and Elsa lays down. I fill up my mattress and go to sleep in the corner of my living room. Some rest and maybe things are different. No one took off their gear, maybe we are too tired or too scared since the world has turned upside down.

POV Punzie

Bang Bang.. BTOOM!

Something is waking me up. ”Mum, I am still sleepy,” I turn my side and the sound of explosions finally wake me up. Everyone else is sleeping. “WAKE UP!” I scream and Merida startles next to me. ”Who, where? What?” I sign her to listen.

Her eyes widen and she runs to window and opens it. “Oh god,” she exhales. “What is it?” I cover my head with the blanket. ”The building is burning, I see explosions.” She closes the window. “We need to wake up the others!” She pulls my hand and we go to living room. “How could you hear that? These rooms must be almost noise proved?” I shrug my shoulders, ”I have a good hearing?”

”Wake up!” Merida screams. Jack rubs his eyes and seems tired, ”What is it?” Elsa is now sitting and Hiccup comes to us and is rubbing his back. “Ouch that mattress is killing me,” he whines. “Shhh!” I tell them and I go to window to open it. The explosions could be heard now, Toothless is growling.

The elevator starts to move. We turn around and watch how it comes up. A loud thumbing noise echoes inside the elevator shaft. “I hope that is just a way to say hello,” Jack whispers when the banging sound gets louder and we just stare at the elevator doors.

The door opens. The room fills with screaming, there is Astrid. Her dog is laying on the floor dead. Astrid holds her axe and is swinging it. Fishlegs is biting her arm and tores a chunk of flesh from it. “NO!” Hiccup yells and tries to run to Astrid. Jack stops him and I see how the twins that we saw before come from the shadows and go onto her. Ripping her flesh. “Help!” Astrid gasps and blood is spitting out from her mouth. Slowly she sounds like being drowned in her own blood, she coughs when they eat her neck, exposing her neck artery. It is now fatal.

Astrid falls to ground and Hiccup is sobbing. They are eating her, kneeling next to her. I hold my mouth and feel sick. “Take everything! Now!” Jack yells as those undead things notice us and start to approach us. We grab everything. Just before we head to bedroom I see Astrid twitching on the floor. Slowly she sits on the elevator floor and her eyes nail onto us. Her eyes are white and she jumps up. She screams so loud that my ears rang and she starts to run. Those things don’t run. “FUCK! Quickly!” Jack is slapping our backs and pulls Hiccup behind of him.

We barely managed to get to bedroom. Jack is leaning against the door, holding those things off. Moaning and growling is something awful. Those things are trying to get inside, banging the door. “Get me something! We need to block it!” He gasps and Elsa pushes the bed in front of the door with Merida. I try to comfort shocked Hiccup and his dog is rubbing itself against him.

Jack walks to Hiccup. “Wake up,” he says simply and Hiccup stares to nothingness. Jack sighs and rolls his eyes, then he punches him and Hiccup falls to ground. He holds his cheek and stares at Jack. “You’re good inventor, right?” Jack asks him and Hiccup nods. ”Well, figure us a plan to get out!” Jack yells when Astrid’s hand punches a small hole to the door. “Make it quick,” Jack says with worried voice as he watches the door.
