POV Merida

Some of us had a good night sleep last night. I on the other hand turned around multiple times last night, I couldn’t sleep. I felt worried, worried about Anna and Hiccup. Especially Hiccup since he only had one leg and the other one was a metallic weapon like fake leg. He still wasn’t used to it. What if he has to run? Can Anna give him enough support?

I glance at the group that came in with Anna. They are some sort of soldiers, I think. Weird ones though, Johnny would get along great with Hiccup since they both share the interest in exploding things and fire. Mavis is cool though, strong and has her own will.

“I hope that we will find my girlfriend soon!” Al runs next to me, he gives out a sly smirk. He has been trying to cheer me up all this time. Only one of them seems to really get how I feel right now. Kristoff has been anxious after Anna went missing.

“We will find everyone, I hope,” I smiled faintly to Al who nodded. He has been normal for some time now. No sign of his other personalities, the crazy and smart ape called Abu or the wild, powerful and mindless Genie.

“Hey! We are almost there!” Peter exclaimed and pointed out a sign. Ten more miles until we are at Atlantica. We were lucky to get out that night when Anna and Hiccup were spotted. We used the ruckus to escape, otherwise that Drago and his gang might have found us and do horrible things.

“HUSH!” Punzie whispered and pulled me behind bushes. “Hide!” Punzie gasped. Everyone went to hide and we stayed quiet. “What now?” I snapped to Punzie who let me know to listen by cupping her ear. I sighed and focused on listening.

I heard the sound of motorbikes. I watched how a familiar figure was driving towards Atlantica. “Isn’t that?” I gasped and stared at the sight of a man wearing black leather suit. Al nodded next to me, “Yup. It is him. Pitch is moving his location to Atlantica.”

“Shit,” I whispered and Flynn held Punzie’s hand. “Let’s just keep out of sight,” Flynn whispered. We all waited until Pitch had passed us with his followers. Mavis stands up and wipes some leaves from her black army uniform, “Why did we have to hide?” She gives out angry glare and points towards the direction where Pitch had went.

“That person is awful!” Punzie yelled. “He did horrible things to us!” Punzie continued and I nodded. Who even knows what he would have done to us without Al and Flynn interfering.

Mavis nodded her approval, “I understand.” She looked at me and Punzie. “Should we move forward?” Johnny nodded behind of us. A pack of zombies was slowly walking towards us. They were attracted by the sound of the motorbikes it seems.

“Yeah, let’s move,” Mavis said and pointed forward. We took some running steps. Three more miles anymore until we arrive to Atlantica. I sure hope that Hiccup and Anna are headed there also as we are assuming. I throw my crossbow over my shoulder after I shot one zombie that was limping in front of us. A clean headshot and the zombie had fallen to ground lifeless. As I passed it I pulled out the bolt. We need to spare as much ammo as possible, including my bolts.

POV Anna

Hiccup is walking in front of me, stretching his arms and yawning. We left early today so we could reach Atlantica in daylight. Nights were dangerous because you never know what could lurk in the shadows. There could be bad people or zombies.

We are on the streets at Atlantica. “Stop!” Hiccup yells to me and points forward. I see the zombies making their way towards us. “Crap we are still without good weapons,” Hiccup gritted his teeth. I am clenching the kitchen knife in my hand. Hiccup is holding his flame sword ready to slash a head off. His dog is barking to those groaning things that show no sign of turning around. They want us.

Hiccup is looking around him nervously, his hands are clenching the swords handle. “Ummm.. Let’s go over there!” He nods towards a tower building. We ran inside the tower through a store. I look up and see the sign as we run inside, it said ‘Sea Shoe’s’. Great, a shoe shop.

I accidentally pushed down some shoes from the display stand. “Hush!” Hiccup placed his front finger in front of his mouth. Toothless was staring at the door and growling. We hid behind of a counter and waited.

SQUEEEK!

“Shit, I think that something came in,” Hiccup hissed and stood up. I peeked towards the door. Couple of zombies had came in and more were closing in. “You barricade the door! I will handle them!” Hiccup yelled while couple more came inside. Hiccup kneeled down and took a high heel shoe from the ground.

As Hiccup run to first zombie I made my way around. I took a ‘for sale’ sign that was placed on top of a pole. I ripped the sign of and I used the pole to barricade the door. Quickly I placed the pole behind the door handles. The door gave in slightly when the zombies were collecting behind the door.

After the door was closet I saw one zombie laying on the ground. Hiccup had used the shoes heel to stab the zombie to its head. Now he had another pair in his hands and he hit two zombies to head at once. Hiccup reached to a pair of shoes on his right.

The shoes were purple with green embroidery. The perfect shoes that were sparkling in front of my eyes, the heels were just the right high and Hiccup was holding them. He was about to slam them through a zombies skull. The most perfect shoes in the world would be ruined by blood and brain matter soon.

“NO!” I yelled and run forward. I tackled Hiccup who gasped. “What are you doing!” He exhaled while I grapped the shoes and pulled them from him. “No! You can’t! I won’t let you!” I panted. Hiccup was laying under me while I sat on his chest. “Let me finish off those zombies?” He cocked his eyebrow.

I shook my head, “Yeas.. I mean no.. I mean yes.. Ah! I just don’t want these shoes to get ruined!” I pressed the shoes against my chest tightly. “Women,” Hiccup groaned and sighed loudly. He pushed me aside and took his sword out. He beheaded the last zombie with one clean swift of his sword.

“Now you can have your shoes.. I don’t need them,” Hiccup said sarcastically. Suddenly our attention went to backdoor which opened up.

POV Elsa

“Jack! Over here!” I yell to him while we use the back entrance of the tower. Here should be people who  are alive. Jack runs inside after me and closes the door. I am trying to hide the fact that the gunshot wound is still painful.

Jack laughs and hugs me, “We made it!” He kisses my cheek and I blush. “It seems so but what was your great mission?” I look at Jack who gives a sly smirk. “To find the people who are trapped inside the tower and help them to a safe location until the zombie infection is under control,” he chuckled.

I sighed, “Well.. sounds good but how are we going to do that? There are dozens of those things out there now?” I nodded towards the metallic door. Some zombies were already banging it and the voice echoed in staircase which we were in. “Oh yeah! Well that is the point why we came here to help, right?” He smiled so wide and jerked his head to right.

We went inside the tower which lower section was done to some shops. “Do you really think that there is someone in here?” I whisper to Jack who hushes me. “Yeah, there must be,” he smiles and takes my hand.

As we were walking I suddenly heard some noises from a shop. We stopped and looked at each other and then the shop. We nodded to each other, we knew each other’s thoughts. We were going to check it out. Jack gently pushes the door’s handle, it was a back entrance to that shop. Jack goes in first.

Jack lets go of my hand and keeps his staff in front of him. He seems to make sure that I am behind of him. “Show yourselves!” Jack yells and two figures show up. Other one takes out a sword and does something that causes the sword to go in flames. It lightens the room and I gasp when I see the person holding it. “Hiccup!” I yelled happily.

“E-elsa?” Hiccup gasps and looks to his left. There is a girl, I cannot see properly but then she drops a pair of shoes and walks forward. Now her face is lightened by the flames that give light. “ELSA!” She screams happily and runs to me, Jack steps out from the way and stares at me. I am hugging Anna, my sister.

“W-what are you doing in here Anna?” I gulped and I watched her blue eyes. Her strawberry blonde hair seemed a bit messy. My wound was aching because she gave me a tight hug.

Hiccup stares at me like he is looking at a ghost. Then he looks at Jack and seems puzzled. “I thought you died!” Anna cried. I patted her back, “But I didn’t.. I almost did but Jack helped me out.” I smile to Anna who looks me into my eyes.

“Hi?” Jack says and waves his hand. Anna looks at him and then at me and back at him again. She has a grin forming on her face. “Who is he?” She laughs and sobs at the same time. Jack ruffles his hair and then offers his hand to Anna, he smiles nervously. “Name is Jack,” he shakes Anna’s hand. Anna laughs happily and looks at me with shining eyes.

“YOU DIED DUDE!” Hiccup suddenly yells and turns off his flame sword. Jack starts to look at him, “Actually I turned into one of those things, then I got antidote from a scientist. I am the only test subject that survived,” Jack shrugs his shoulders and smiles. Hiccup hugs Jack, “Oh man I am glad that you’re ok!”

Jack seems bothered, he doesn’t seem to recognize Hiccup yet. “He was in our group, you and I stumbled on him at the stadium,” I whispered to Jack who nodded gratefully. Suddenly Jack took a hold of my hand and entwined his fingers with mine. It caused me to blush. Anna raised her eyebrows when she saw that.

“Since when have you had a boyfriend?” Anna winked her eye to me. It caused me to blush and even Jack gulped. Jack rubbed his neck, “S-since.. I mean.. Few days after zombie invasion started but.. it was a bit off when I lost my memories and they believed that I am dead.. Now we have been together since the day when they were trapped by Drago.” Jack ended his speech with nervous laughter.

Anna hugged both me and Jack. I am so happy for you! Hiccup was still staring at Jack and me. “Whoa you guys are tuff! I mean.. I was so sure that..that you..” He swallowed loudly. Jack walked to him and slammed Hiccup to his back, “But we are here alright! Nothing to worry about.” Jack smiled and gave him a sly smirk. Now Hiccup chuckled and smiled back.

I look at Anna and I remember something, “Umm.. Anna.. about Hans.” Anna shook her head, “That dirt bag is someone who I don’t want to hear about anymore. He stabbed me.” My jaw dropped, “He what?”

Anna nodded, “He stabbed me. I found him in city of Sherwood. He told me that you died.” Anna whispered and looks at me. I hug her, “Well.. now we are back together.”

Ahem.

We all turn around, we just heard someone clearing throat behind of us. “I am sorry for interrupting your reunion,” A woman walks to us. She has dark red lipstick and blue color in his eyelids. Her white hair is short and she has a pale skin. She is chubby but her hips move none the less.

Jack goes in front with Hiccup. “Stop protecting me!” I snap to Jack Anna goes forward. “Yeah! We don’t need protection!” Anna laughs and holds her knife.

“Calm down kids, my name is Ursula. This is my shoe store, you know,” she smiles and walks to us. We lower our weapons and I put my gun back to my waist. “Is there any more people in here besides you? “ Jack asks from Ursula.

Ursula laughs, “Sure there are boy. Just look around the tower and you will find other people.” Something about her smile creeps me out. “Follow me,” Ursula laughs deeply and I glance at Jack and the others.

We hesitated for a moment but we decided to follow her. She guides us through the back door to centre of the tower building. “Where is she taking us?” Anna whispers. “Perhaps to a place where are other survivors I hope,” I whisper.

“There is something odd going on,” Hiccup comes to me and whispers when she leads us to bottom floor. I nod, “We must prepare to the worst case scenario. People have gone a bit crazy after everything started.” Anna shows her agreement by nodding.

I feel Jack’s hand over my shoulder, “I will go first.” He gives me a smirk, “You guys run when I tell you. I think you have noticed that there is something wrong… “ Jack walks down the stairs, my hand goes to the railing and I took one step forward. He is right, it is odd that she was the only one upstairs. Where are the others? Why wouldn’t there be more people? Is she tricking us?

Another step down and my heart beats fast. “Please leave your weapons here, we don’t tolerate them in our community,” Ursula smiles again and points at a corner where already are some hand guns and knives. We all look at each other.

“Well.. I will come to check out the situation first, if it is alright? Then I will come to tell my friends that it is cool to come down?” Jack chuckles to Ursula who seems bothered. “Fine then,” Ursula says coldly.

Jack places his staff to lean against the wall and also his sniper rifle. He throws his knife to a knife pile on the ground. “Jack!” I grab his arm. Anna looks at me with concerned look.

“Let me come with you!” I tell to Jack, he looks down where Ursula is waiting. He shakes his head, “No.” Then he leans close to me, “I will yell if there is something wrong. Please.. leave when that happens.. I will warn you, don’t come after me.” He kisses my cheek and my hand slides away from his. He smiles faintly when he walks downstairs.

The waiting is the worst part. I lean against the wall. This moment feels like eternity.

I have some things to share with you, My Apocalyptic Snow Storm.

I believe that I am letting you guys down with this book. I feel like my readers are vanishing and I am doing a crappy job. There might not be that many chapters left, I don’t know.. Also I am slowly thinking that sequel might not happen.. ah.. I don’t know *sighs*.
