POV Anna

I am stuck with Hiccup and others are nowhere to be seen. For couple of days we have been walking in the woods without any realization where we are going. He believes that we are going towards Atlantica where others would go too. He draws maps and takes direction from the sun or the stars. I just wonder if we will ever make it.

He stops suddenly and holds his arm in front of me, “Hush.. There is something behind that old shed.” Hiccup points at a rotten looking shed which has a shovel leaning on its wall. Soon I hear something clattering on the ground, something just pushed the shovel down.

I gasp when I see a zombie limping towards us. We are without weapons still, I take out the largest rock from next to me and I am panting while I watch at the zombie. Slowly it walks closer and closer, groaning and snapping its jaws open and close again. It was once a woman but now she is just a zombie, it is rare to see living people anymore. Her clothes are all torn and smudgy.

“Stay back,” Hiccup says with confident voice. He walks towards the zombie and he kicks it with his metallic leg. Zombie is now laying on the ground and Hiccup walks around it to get the shovel. He lifts the shovel from ground and slams the zombie back to ground after it managed to stood up from previous fall.

Without trace of emotion Hiccup steps on the zombies chest and holds it on ground. He held the shovel with two hands and tried the tip of the shovel on zombies neck. Now I knew what he was up to. He raised the shovel in air and with all of his power he hit the zombie to its neck with the shovel. He grunted when he stuffed the shovel deep until the zombie was beheaded.

Hiccup glares at the shovel and nods. “We must go further,” he tells to me. Hiccup brings the shovel with us and we go forward. “Hey!” I yell to him and he glares at me. “T-there is a house?” I whisper. Hiccup has been tense lately since he got separated from his friends and after what happened with Drago.

“Worth checking out, I guess,” Hiccup shrug his shoulders and we went to that house. We peeked inside from windows to see if the route was clear. It seemed that the house had been empty even before the zombie infection started to spread. The house was like a ghosthouse with worn out paint, creaking floor boards and squeaky doors.

We were alert while we moved inside of the house. “Maybe there is something to eat?” I whisper to Hiccup. He just points to me that I should go to room on the left while he goes right. He is dead serious with his surround checkings.

The room I got was the kitchen. Quickly I go through the cabinets. “Hiccup! I found knives!” I yell to him and then I open new cabinet. “Whoa! And fruit cans!” I squeal in excitement. ”Uh..Hiccup?” I whisper when someone touches my shoulder.

I scream when I turn around and I see teeth closing up on me. A bearded man with torn lip is trying to bite me. He is one of the zombies. “Anna!” I hear Hiccup yelling and running towards me. ”I am here!” I yell while I try to keep the zombie further away from me.

I see Hiccup at the door, “Use one of the knives!” I nod towards the table where I lifted the knife set. Hiccup grabs one and stabs the zombie on its head. The blade goes deep inside its skull and the zombie falls to ground lifeless. “Phew, that was a close one,” I stare at the zombie while my breathing is shallow.

“Don’t yell, they react to sound,” Hiccup whispered. “S-sorry,” I felt embarrassed right now. “Did you find anything?” I whisper to him. “You bet,” he grins and takes a hold of my hand.

He laughs happily while he points at a table. “Umm.. there is some sort of sword, gas bottles, diesel fluid and a lighter? What are you doing with those?” I whisper to him. “Well, they are perfect as individual pieces but I will create something new. Just watch!” He winks his eye and sits on a chair that he pulled closer to the table.

He ties gas can and a bottle filled with diesel near the sword’s handle with duct tape. Before that he made them have some sort of mechanisms. Soon there were buttons, cans and bottles and of course the lighter in the sword. The thing looked weird. “What is it?” I stare at his weird looking creation.

Hiccup chuckled and pushed one button. I saw how diesel fluid made the blade wet. Then he used the attached lighter and the sword was now in flames. “Whoa..” I exhaled and Hiccup nodded. ”Yup, I did a flame sword and that is not all!” He grinned.

Now Hiccup turned off the flame sword and pressed another button. Some gas erupted from the end and then he used the lighter he held in pocket. The air around him started burning in a circle like he waved his sword. “That is awesome!” I look around. ”Umm.. maybe you should continue your performance outsie or this house might burn to ashes?” I laughed nervously and he stopped.

“You’re right,” he smiled and placed his new creation to his waist. “Hey, Hiccup.. I heard something scratch the door right now,” I whisper to him while I look at the door. “Oh, cool!” He said while he went to open it. His black labrador dog Toothless came in. “So buddy, did you find the others?” Hiccup kneeled down but his dog frowned. I guess he didn’t found a trace.

Hiccup sighed, “Maybe we should stay the night in here. I mean there are beds and food, warm and cozy?” He smiled and I nodded. He certainly was right, sleeping outside in the rain for couple days had pushed me to my limit.

Before we went to sleep we ate some canned fruits. There even was some canned beef to give to Toothless. I wonder how long we can actually find supplies from houses and how long it will take that we have to hunt our food. I have to stay strong even though I miss my sister. We didn’t spend much time together but I loved her anyway.

POV Rapunzel

After we had the encounter with Drago and his gang again we decided that the best thing was to split up. Mulan left us with Megara, they are heading to city of Olympus. Flynn and Al decided to head with me and Merida to Atlantica.

I am still not sure about the people who came to rescue Merida. They had no precise plan of how to get out from here, they needed an airport for Peter to fly. They helped us escape that night from the mansion of Adam and Belle. Belle left with her close ones to countryside which they believe to be a safer option than heading to a big city.

Also Marc went off with Alexa towards village of Camelot. We would meet them there after we have checked out if Hiccup is at Atlantica with Anna. It is the most  possible option. “Hey, what are you thinking?” Flynn wraps his arm around my shoulder. My new pet lizard Pascal climbs to his arm and Flynn flinches.

I laugh to him and Pascal. “Just thought the idea if we can actually find Anna and Hiccup at Atlantica.” I heard a groan behind of me, “We will!” It was Merida and she was rolling her eyes. She has been anxious after we lost our friends. “I have his weapon sack, he wants it back so,” Merida mumbled and walked past us.

“I think she likes him,” Flynn whispered to my ear. “Why would you believe that?” I look at Flynn who blushes. “Because.. umm..,” he blushes more. ”Yeah?” I smile to him.

Flynn stops walking and I look at him. He exhales deeply and takes a hold from my wrist, pulling me close and he kisses me. His hand brushes my cheek and I close my eyes after my body relaxes. He smells like the forest around us.

He gives me short kisses that are innocent, then longer and more passionate ones. I embrace him and he lifts me up to air which causes me to giggle. After our kiss my cheeks feel warm and I bite my lower lip. My hands brush my hair nervously, “I.. I..” I mumbled to him because I felt speechless. ”I have fallen in love with you Rapunzel,” Flynn smiles and kisses my cheek.

“Here is the perfect spot for camping!” Johnny yelled and started to unpack his things. Mavis was helping him and Peter was already spreading the tent. I didn’t have time to speak with Flynn after our moment but I felt the sparkles between us when I set out a warning system around the camp. If a zombie walks and stumbles on wire it will wave the cans that are hanging from it and cause noise that will wake us up. It is good to do precautions or we might end up eaten.

POV Jack

I kiss Elsa’s forehead before I leave to a meeting. “I will come back soon, I promise,” I pat her head and she pouts. “How long do I have to stay in bed?” She whines and I laugh. She looks so beautiful even when she is angry.

“You will stay in bed as long as it is necessary!” I smirk to her and I hear her groaning when I close the door. I walk past of some workers in the corridors and I head out to our conference room. I see Manny in front and I sit next to Tooth. “What is the big deal now?” I whisper to Toothiana who tells me to hush.

Manny is giving us a new plan. He is pointing a stick at black board with complex looking drawings. I yawn and Toothiana elbows me, “Stay focused Jack!” She snaps at me. “I know that you’ve been spending all of your time with Elsa but you are part of us, the guardians, now. Behave like one,” she stares at me and I correct my position and cross my arms. I really try to listen now.

“We will head out tonight. I have heard that there are still some people alive in this tower,” Manny speaks and slams the stick on the black board. “That looks like the tower where the gigantic gorilla climbed on that movie,” I chuckle to Tooth who gives me a death glare. I shall shut my piehole right now.

“There are lots of zombies around the tower since there are people. We are the last front fighting in this apocalypse in US. Do your best and don’t get bitten,” Manny smiles and looks at me. “I am already bitten,” I murmured while I stood up with others.

Rest of the day went by doing preparations. Finally I had a few moments before I had to leave and I went to Elsa. “Hey,” I whispered from the door and I peeked in. Elsa was reading a book but put it down when she saw me. “Where have you been?” She whispered and patted her bed.

I jumped next to her and we layed there, sitting and our backs against the wall. Her hand took a hold of mine and our fingers entwined. “We were informed about a new mission, a rescue one,” I remove a hair strand from covering her face and she gasps. I feel how she squeezes my hand tightly.

“No Jack! You can’t go!” Elsa begged from me and I shake my head. “I must go but I promise that nothing bad will happen,” I let go of her hand and I place my arm over her shoulder. Her head leans on my shoulder and she is sobbing. “I can’t lose you again,” she whispers. “You won’t,” I tell her while I feel bad that I have to leave her.

I glance at the clock. Ten more minutes and it is time to go towards Atlantica where the people are having trouble. “Mm.. Elsa, I should go?” I gently wave Elsa. She had fallen asleep. ”W-what? Now?” She looks at me with her sleepy eyes. ”Yeah, now,” I smile to her faintly and she hugs me tightly. “Come back safe or I will,” she looks at me and her gaze almost scares me. “Of course,” I laugh nervously when I stood up and leave her.

“Here take this,” Jim throws me a belt with knife. “Thanks,” I smile to Jim while I take out my other equipment. I throw my sniper rifle on my shoulder and dress on the flying device. Just when I was reaching for my staff I hear running steps. We all turn around, Sandy was already getting the machine gun ready on the helicopter.

I see Elsa running towards us. “Wait for me!” She yells and I see Manny stepping outside from the helicopter. “You should stay in bed,” Manny tells to Elsa. “Yeah, let me take her there,” I smile to Manny and I take a hold from Elsa’s wrist. She pulls her hand back.

“I will come with you,” Elsa glares at Manny. “No you won’t!” I raise my voice and I touch Elsa’s shoulder. She doesn’t let me touch her. “He isn’t going anywhere without me,” Elsa tells to Manny. I feel how other guardians are staring at me. “You need a babysitter, mate?” Bunny laughs to me and I hit him with the end of my staff, causing him to lose breathe.

I look at Elsa, she is so determined that it almost makes her body shake. She has done her hair in French braid, somehow she has found a blue t-shirt and shorts. “I repeat, he is going nowhere without me,” Elsa takes my hand and squeezes it hard.

Manny sighs, “Can you handle difficult situations miss?” Elsa nods, “I have survived this long and trust me. I can protect my friends, “ she smiles with confidence and looks at me and other guardians. “What weapon do you use?” Manny holds his hands on his waist and his gaze is evaluating Elsa.

I make Elsa let go of me and I reach behind of my back. “Here,” I hand out Elsa a gun. “She uses hand guns,” I sighed. Elsa took the gun and tried it out, shooting an empty can. Jim had just eaten some beans.

“Well, welcome to the group. You can pair up with Jack since others have pairs already,” Manny smiled happily to Elsa and then patted her head. Elsa sat next to me in the helicopter and leaned her head against my shoulder.

“Why?” I groaned to her. I felt bad that she came with us, she would have been safer back at the Pole. “I would die without you,” she said while smiling. My cheeks blushed in deep shade of red. “So.. who is pairing up with who?” Elsa nodded towards the guardians.

“Tooth works with Sandy from the helicopter. North and Bunny work on ground and together. I was solo until now,” I rub my neck and Elsa nods. “Now I have got your back,” she said to me and my heart was beating rapidly. Her eyes were so deep blue that I almost drowned in them.

Someone cleared his throat, “Time to go, lovebirds.”It was Bunny who grinned widely. We jumped down from the helicopter which was hovering still some inches from the ground. “Alarm us from danger!” I yelled to North before we departed to our ways.

I was walking forward with Elsa. She was keeping her gun in ready position if she would have to fire. Gladly it was a silenced weapon. I was holding my staff and ready to slice a head off.

We saw the tower now around the corner but we saw something else also. Zombies had heard the helicopter and were coming from every direction. “I think we are screwed?” Elsa said to me and I hugged her tightly. We were surrounded.

“Nope, we will get through this. Literally,” I gave her a sly smirk and she smiled. We turned around and our backs were against each others. Elsa lifted her gun near her body and I took my staff in front of me. “We will survive, Elsa,” I whispered to her and she laughed.

“Are you ready?” I asked from Elsa. She gave me a slight chuckle before yelling, ”Ready!” She started to shoot and the zombies fell to ground lifeless with gunshot wounds on their heads. Elsa was excellent shooter. I ran forward and beheaded zombies with my staff. Sometimes I had to kick few of them to ground and stab them to head with knife.

After some slaughtering we had 20 dead zombies. “We did it!” Elsa laughed happily and jumped on my neck. I lifted her up and spin her in the air. I almost ended up kissing her but I realized in time not to do so. Instead I kissed her to her cheek and she gave me a disappointed look for a while.

 I just can’t risk her to turn into zombie. It would crush my heart since Jas hasn’t still managed to do the antidote in a way that it would be safe for anyone. I was patient number 25 and now there is patient number 40 who is dead. It worked only in me which is odd.

Elsa nodded towards the tower, “Should we go in?” She whispered and I nodded. We sneaked our way in and started to look around. It was quiet for now.
