Fear courses through Neeve Mullen as she dials the phone number written on a grubby slip of paper, the keys sticking to her grimy fingers; she, too, fears the voice that will come out of her Nokia 8110. but when the voice simply spits out a name, her lips curl into a smile, because she knows that this will be difficult.

Even now, Noor Kashyap's blood runs wild in her veins as she's accosted by a dark figure at the Henrietta exit sign. She stops, because where else has she not run before? Noor is not ready, but her hands curl up into proper fists, one thing ringing through her brain; thumbs over knuckles so you don't break the fingers.

But Noor Kashyap has never been afraid. She is able to look at this figure and laugh outright, a laugh as bright as Apollo himself. Noor has never bowed to submission, and the fate over her head is one that she adamantly refuses to look up to. She calls to fear, courts it, hungers for the terror in return to it feeding her measly bones. It answers her in the form of a broken nose and yells of pain from the woman (has Noor seen her before? She seems awfully familiar...)

In the next few hours that blur together as one, she now sits in the backseat of Neeve's car with instructions: Befriend Richard Gansey III. Know his secrets. Stab him in the back.

Noor Kashyap does not feel fear because she craves it. She is the last Dreamer of her family and she will burn this world to the fucking ground.
