Soren's POV:

"Have any of you seen Flare anywhere?" I asked. "Hm? Actually, I haven't! That's quite odd..." Mina said. "I was just wondering, because I haven't seen her since yesterday afternoon..." I said. "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't know where she is..." Mina said. "It's fine." I smiled. "GAAAAASP!!!! KELDEO!!!!!" Leo shouted, as he ran to the entrance of the base. "And it seems that the infamous members of the sugar high duo have reunited!" Mina laughed. "Uh... Who?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Long story..." Mina said, walking over to Kaden. "Soren?" Moon moon tapped my shoulder. "Yeah?" I replied, turning around. "Flare's been acting strange... Can you go talk to her?" He said, pointing to the forest. "Sure." I said.

Flare's POV:

"..." I sat on a smooth rock, looking at the beautiful sky, with its wispy white clouds that looked like they were painted onto a blue canvas. "Sigh..." I sighed. I still couldn't grasp the fact that I'm not the only human here. 'But still...' I thought. 'Will I go back to being human someday...?' I thought. 'The thought of going back scares me.' I thought. "...!" I heard footsteps in the forest. 'Not even Mina knows her way through the Lyra forest that well!' I thought, turning around and getting my flames ready. "Oh... Found y--", "TAKE THAT!" I used flamethrower and engulfed the target in flames. "Uh...? Was that supposed to hurt?" It was Soren?! "W-what are you doing here?!" I shouted, seeing if he was wounded. "...?" He raised an eyebrow. "Um...?" He said. "..." My face became red once I realized that I was checking to see if he was hurt. "Thanks...?" He said. "..." I growled. "What?" He said. "..." I growled again. "Moon moon and the others are worried about you." He said.

"Topas, we have returned." My two scouts said as they walked into the base.

"Good, what have you found?" I asked.

"Two humans..." They grinned.
