Daya ran into her dads room and struggled onto the bed "daddy! Firs day School" she squealed and shook him with as much strength as she could (he barely moved) Jason groaned and sat up "already? But it's like 7:00am" Daya rolled her eyes "uncle rwoy said we leave 7:30 yesserday silly!" Jason kicked his feet out of bed and headed towards the kitchen "ok me spawn, let's get you some toast then I'm going to get dressed, then we'll get you dressed and your hair done, uncle Roy left snacks in the fridge yesterday night" Daya nodded excitedly and sat on a dining chair, "can I ave rasby jam please" Jason made her toast and left to get dressed. He had jeans, a red shirt and his usual leather jacket.

Daya finished her toast and Jason led her to her closet "ok Day, denim overall dress with a red, black or yellow long sleeved undershirt, hmmm white sneakers and leggings?" Daya nodded and ended up choosing the yellow undershirt and light yellow  three quarter leggings, Jason quickly put Daya's hair in space buns, before he put her snack in her backpack, grabbed his phone, wallet and keys and walked out the door.

They were only 5 minutes late.

When they arrived Jason unclipped Daya from her car seat and took her hand as they walked down the hall "right kid, make friends, stay out of trouble, learn stuff, have fun, got that?" Daya giggled "yup" they got to the door where a young lady stood waving "hi there! You must be Daya Todd, the last one to arrive, I'm Miss. Pike, I'll be your teacher this year! I love animals and rainbows, what about you Miss Todd" Daya stepped out from behind Jason's legs "I like aminals an drawin" she said shyly. Jason beant down and gave her a hug "right kiddo, I'll be back at 12:00 to pick you up, aunt Kori and uncle Roy are gon be there, we'll walk home and get food, Kay?" Daya nodded, "Bye daddy!"

Jason waved as he walked away watching in slight sadness as his daughter was whisked into the colourful classroom.

An hour after dropping Daya off, Jason decided to head out to get groceries, once inside he had a list, there was some milk, bread, jam and school snacks for Daya, he made his way past the kids section and grabbed a water bottle, notebook and color pencils as well, he decided it would be a sort of reward for completing her first day of school. He grabbed the water bottle in his hand and chucked it in the trolley, that's when he heard it "JASON" it sounded familiar "JASON ITS DICK PLEASE STOP WALKING" he froze, turned slowly and stared.

Fucking Richard.

Dick caught up to him and pulled him into a hug, "it's been a while little brother!" He said cheerfully, Jason scoffed "whadda you want dickhead" dick rolled his eyes "I want you to tell me what life's like for you nowadays! It's been ages!" Jason sighed and looked at his watch "look dick I really need to go, I gotta do something, much more important than talk to you, no offense"  dicks smile dropped "can I come? Please?" Jason thought for a moment, he'd see and meet Daya... but is that really a bad thing...?

"fine Dick, you can meet me outside the cross diner at 12:30 I'll be bringing 3 guests, don't be late or we leave without you. Dick pumped a fist into the air "see ya then jay!" Jason sighed and paid for his items, quickly dropping them home before starting the 10 minute walk towards Dayas pre-school.

"DADDYYYYYY" Daya screeched as she ran forward to where Jason was waiting along with Roy and Kori, he held a small pink scooter in one hand and put it on the floor besides the 4 year old "Hop on ya scooter and let's get going my child! We are gonna meet someone today!" Daya gave Jason her sparkly bag which he hung over his shoulder proudly, then started scooting in between Roy and Jason. 

As they came up to the diner they could see dick sitting in a booth with his back to the entrance, smirking Jason lifted Daya onto his back and Roy picked up the scooter, they walked inside politely declining the waitresses offer for a table and headed towards dick "hey dick" Jason said casually, dicks head flew around only to see Roy and Kori next to Jason "hey jay! Can't believe you actually showed up!" Daya popped her head over Jason's shoulder "daddy who's that?" Dick froze and nearly screeched "you have a daughter?!" Jason sighed and shifted Daya onto his hip "hi vere I'm Daya Todd"

Dick stood up nearly as fast as the flash and ran forward "omg jay she looks just like you! She's so cute omg I'm going to die!!!" Jason smirked again and Roy and Kori sat in the booth "Daya this is your uncle Dick, he likes hugs, you wanna give him a hug?" Daya grinned and made grabby hands at dick who looked ready to cry "M'kay youw my untle dick wright? You don hafta be if you dowanna" Dick looked at Jason who nodded and loosened his hold on Daya, dick grabbed her and gave her a huge hug before settling her on his hip "course I'll be your uncle dick! Who wouldn't want a chance at being the cool uncle of Daya Todd!" Dick span around and landed sitting down in the cushioned chairs placing her in between himself and Jason.

Daya and Dick ended up working on a colouring sheet until their food arrived. After about an hour they left the diner Jason asking dick not to say anything to the rest of the family as he wanted to tell them, dick happily agreed and watched as Daya scooted off besides her dad, Roy and Kori. 

Daya seemed to like her uncle Dick, she also said she enjoyed kindy, aparently already being friends with her entire class, which does not surprise Jason at all.
