As I followed the people to one of the rooms, I was being held by one so I don't run away, knowing I still didn't gain their full trust.

One of them opened the door to a room and asked "is this them?" I nodded "yes.." I said quietly. He nodded and walked into the room, inspecting them carefully.

The person that was holding me chuckled and walked over to Muichiro, picking him up by his hair and saying "hmm, I like this one~ let's take him, what's his name?"

"M-Muichiro.. his name is Muichiro" I mumbled quietly and he nodded, running his fingers through Muichiro's hair before caressing his cheek "I haven't seen such a beauty in a hot minute.."

"You'll get to do stuff later on, you pervert" one of the people said and stood up "you know where to take him, and you" he looked at me "you know where to go, go get needles and we'll get started.

Muichiro's pov

I woke up on a bed in a small, white room. I quickly sat up and pulled my knees to by chest as I heard footsteps getting closer to the room, second after, the door to the room opened and four guys in white clothes walked in.

"You're finally awake" one of them said and walked over to me. I immediately backed away, pressing myself against the wall as much as I could.

"Come on~ don't be scared, we don't bite" another one came even closer, grabbing me by my chin to make him face him. Tears filled my eyes as I started to sob, pushing his hand away and covering my face in fear.

"Now you made him cry, do you even know how hard I'll be to inject something into him?!" Another one yelled out, making my heart drop.

I looked at them, shaking my head repeatedly. "Hold him" one of them said and all nodded, quickly grabbing me by my arms and legs as I tried to kick around but without any success.

They pulled my sleeve up and then I saw a huge needle being held by one of the guys. I immediately started to cry harder, squirming around and trying to get out of their grasp.

"This won't work, get propofol, we'll put him to sleep"

Soon after, one of them poured some kind of liquid on a cloth and pressed it against my mouth and nose. I still tried to resist but I couldn't, soon, I started to get sleepy and without noticing, I fell asleep.

Tanjiro's pov

"Where is he?! Where did you put him?!" I yelled out at one of the guys who was standing by the door to our room. He just looked at me without a response. I was extremely worried about Muichiro. Where is he?! What are they doing to him?! What is happening here?!

"Fuck!" I yelled out and just dropped on the floor, grabbing my hair in frustration. Kotetsu crawled over to me as close as he could, the chain on his leg stopping him from getting closer.

"It'll be okay, Tanjiro.. I am sure he's okay.." he tried to reassure me but I just shook my head, tears filling my eyes. I couldn't bear the thought of them doing something to Muichiro, I couldn't handle it, I just started to cry.

Kotetsu's eyes widened. He wrapped his arms around mine and buried his face into it.

"You're finally here, now watch them and don't answer anything" the guy said and I heard a small familiar hum.

I looked up and my eyes widened "Shinobu?!" I yelled out and she made an eye contact with me for a second but turned away right after.

"So after all this you go against us?!" Nezuko yelled out and tried to run towards her but got stopped by a chain.

"Where is Muichiro?!" I said with a cold voice. No answer. "..WHERE IS HE?!" I yelled out of top of my lungs.

Shinobu flinched a little but this time.. she answered "he's being experimented on.." she said quietly, her voice was barely above a whisper but I heard her clearly.

"What?! Don't you fucking dare do anything to him! He helped you through so much and this is how you repay him?! What kind of fucking friend are you?!" I yelled out with tears still streaming down my face.

She just looked away again. I was starting to lose it, all I could think about was.. what's happening to Muichiro now? Is he okay? What are they doing to him?.. I just prayed that he's alive.

Muichiro's pov

I woke up in a small room again. I sat up and immediately felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. My vision was blurry and my body was feeling really heavy.

I tried to remember what happened to me but I couldn't, all I remember was that bunch of people came into my room and held me down.. nothing after.

I just leaned against a wall and pulled my legs closer to my chest, clutching my aching shoulder.

I was scared.. so scared and alone. I just wanted to go back to my friends.. wanted to be held by them and tell me that everything is going to be okay but.. no.. I didn't even know if they were alive..

I just started to cry, I couldn't hold it back anymore.. I couldn't bear the thought of losing anyone.. and mainly Tanjiro.. I can't take another death of someone I love..

Suddenly when I wiped my tears with my hand and looked at it, my heart dropped.. my tears were black.

Mitsuri's pov

"Shit.. shit shit shit shit!" Sanemi yelled out as he struggled to get out of his chain. I just sighed and looked over at Shinobu who was blankly staring at him.

"I need to do something.. I am the only person here who can manipulate Shinobu.." I thought and unbuttoned my shirt a bit before calling out for Shinobu "Shinobu.." I said quietly and she immediately looked towards me.

"Yes.. Mitsuri..?" She said quietly and I signaled her to come to me. Shinobu looked around the room before walking towards me but still keeping her distance.

"You wouldn't let them hurt me.. right? I am sorry for what I said, Shinobu.. I really am.." I moved closer to her "and.. I do love you too"

Her eyes widened and her whole face went red "..you do?"

"Yes.. of course.. I've been blinded by the grief Obanai's death gave me but.. now that we're here.. all I think about is you" I grabbed her tie and pulled her closer to me.

She didn't resist at this point, she just gulped and struggled to keep eye contact. "If you.. make others trust me as well.. I'll be happy to date you.." I smirked and she nodded after a bit.

"Anything for you, Mitsuri" she chuckled, a wide grin forming on her face.

Suddenly we heard footsteps coming closer to our room. Shinobu immediately stood up and went to the spot she was standing at before. A second after, someone walked in.

"They need help with that long haired guy, you know stuff about him, right?" He said and Shinobu nodded "yes, I do"

"Good, now go, I'll replace you here in a bit" he said and Shinobu nodded, both of them walked out of the room right after.

There was really quiet in the room until Sanemi yelled out "Mitsuri what the fuck?! Are you going to-"

"Let me explain!" I inturupted him and moved closer to them "I am just trying to help, okay? I can manipulate her.. you saw how she already believed what I said. I will gain her trust, look around for Mui and find a way to escape this place.. I promise I am not just doing this for my own good"

They all looked at each other and nodded. Suddenly the door opened and both Shinobu and the guy from before walked in. "So? Who is it?" He said and Shinobu walked over to Mitsuri, quickly unchaining her and grabbing her hand.

"Shit, that was quick" Sanemi whispered and I chuckled a little. Shinobu then led me out of the room.

We were walking through the hallway in silence until she began to talk "I have a room just for us, Mitsuri! You can be there while I work! Or even help me!" She said excitedly and wrapped her arm around my waist.

I forced a small smile, being disgusted by her acting. "Mhm! I am excited to share a room with you, Shinobu!" I reached for her hand, asking "can you show me around first though?"

"Well of course! Let's go!" She said happily and showed me around. I heard a lot of screaming which worried me.. mainly when one of the screams.. got way too familiar..

"Stop!! Leave me alone!" I heard and immediately stopped. Shinobu stopped as well and asked "wanna go take a look?"

I hesitantly nodded and she led me in front of one of the room with glass as one of the walls so I could see clearly inside.

There I saw him.. they had Muichiro laid on one of the bed, holding him down and trying to inject something inside him.

"They are testing different things on him.. this is the second one he'll get, there are three in total that'll help him ignore any pain.. we'll then do a pain tolerance test.. if he'll feel pain, the test failed and we'll kill him. If it'll succeed, we'll either test more on him or turn him into one of the monsters"

My heart dropped when I heard that. "That's so.. that's horrible.. why would you do that to anyone.. to Mui?!" I yelled out which made Shinobu back away a bit, making me realized I lost my act.

"Sorry.. sorry.. I just.. I still like Mui.. I don't like to see him hurt" I mumbled and Shinobu smiled "it'll be okay, he won't feel any pain after the third injection.. I'll make sure that they'll treat him nicer"

I nodded and looked back into the room. Muichiro now just laid on the bed, not resisting anymore. Only movement his body gave off was slight shaking in fear and pain.

"Let's go now, hm? There's so many more things I'd love to show you" she said and I nodded, slowly following next to her.

...

As we walked back, we slowly approached the same room where I saw Mui but now that I looked again.. he wasn't there, all I saw was an empty bed and blood covered tools and needles.

"Where.. did they take him?" I asked and Shinobu pointed towards a hallway "over there, there are rooms and every single one has someone who we experiment on, I think he's in.. room 32?"

I nodded "this is easier than I thought.. I thought that it would be way harder to get information out of her but no.. it's so easy"
