Scars
warning this is in no way deep! This has nothing to do with cutting or self-harm or (most ) of my mental health problems. If that's what you came for ship out!
I have a lot of scars, so instead of writing an essay, I will tell you about 5 of them, in no order.
1. I have a small, circle\oval one on my forearm. It's maybe a half a centimeter in size. I got it from a Tick. It started as a small lump that my mom said was probably just a wart. It wasn't. In the middle of music class, Montana leaned over and asked what was wrong with my arm. I, of course, looked down and screamed. My arm had broken out in a bull's eye (image above, not my bull's eye but that's what it looked like.) "Can I please go to the nurse?" I begged the music teacher who was nonchalantly filling out a pass.
"Yes of course." So I rush out of the classroom to hear her screaming for me to get back here and get a pass. So I walk back tot he music room wait for about a minute well she writes me a pass and then walked to the nurse. The nurse nodded and called my mother who listened to the nurse tell her about which doctor I should go to get it checked and how I now definitely had Lyme.
So I was put on antibiotics and the rash went away. Unfortunately, the bump was still there and had busted open. After numerous hours of mom and my stepdad trying to pull out what they described as "Squggliy things" They decided it was time to let a professional deal with it. So It was off to the doctor's office where they numbed my arm and Gave me four tiny slices and out comes a sac the size of a dime. It was a sist.
So yeah that's how I got that scar, bonus I didn't have to go to band practice that day.
2. Ok, so I have a pockmark scar on my eyelid. I got this from my bro. We were outside at my nana's house and we found a rock we thought was quartz, of course, we remembered from a gold panning show that gold is likely to be found near quartz. So we started hitting the rock with another slightly bigger rock.
you'll never guess what happened. A chip of rock flew off and hit my eyelid. Know It probably wasn't as much blood as I remember, but to a 6-7-year-old any blood is a lot of blood. So I went screaming to my Nana and she cleaned it up and gave me a washcloth to put on it.
And that was how I got the scar on my eye.
3. Next up is a scar on my knuckle. It's about a centimeter long and it runs diagonally to my middle knuckle. The story of how I got this is kind of embarrassing. So I was riding along in the front seat, my mom was driving me to my grandparents. We had Q-tips on the floor because my stepfather has this thing about cleaning his ears. I reach down and grab a couple up and start to clean my ears. Eventually, I got to throw them out the window ( remember Never litter) and I hit my hand off the little Shade rain out thing, that hangs over the edge of the window on some cars and trucks. I pull my hand in and its bleeding.
So yeah I have a visible scar from the combined force of a window and a Q-tip.
4. This one is probably the least noticeable, but its a scar on my lip that is slightly puffier than the rest. if you can picture that. So essentially it's invisible unless you A) know that it's their B) Are looking for it and C)my face is relaxed.
I got this scar from hitting my face off a pool. I was about 3 I think so I don't remember it but we were at a really crappy campground. From what I've heard it was terrible, Like stay-for-three-nights-and-find-noodles-in-the-drain-even-though-we-didn't-have-noodles terrible. But there was a pool, Granted the concert was exposed and it probably hadn't been given a good clean for years but hey a pool. So my mom was distracted for a second, and I slipped and face planted into the side of the pool and busted my lip.
That's the extent of my knowledge regarding that scar.
5. Last but not least is my scar on my right hand. This one is also not very visible, but It's got a splotchy pattern going.
I got this as a result of my Lyme. I got a rash, My skin had dried out and was cracked and red. Of course, we got cream and it went away. About two months later it came back, this time it was leaking. We treated it again, and at this point, I was being treated for Lyme so It hasn't come back yet. But in any case, the scar isn't visible and I often forget about it at all.
That is why you should wear bug spray, or your hand might break out into an itchy irritating oozing rash that has to be wrapped up for most of the day.
