It's been a long time,
Since my shadow has been around,
I lost her a few years ago,
And she still has not been found.
Sometimes it makes me wonder,
Where she could've disappeared,
As if she fell into the darkness,
Of which she was so scared.
And I suppose it is my fault,
Since there is no more light,
So now I like to dream,
That my shadow roams the night.
