Prologue 1: Pine

The war is over! It's so hard to accept. I've been fighting, fighting so hard. I could have died at any moment. I will never be safe again!

Thoughts like this kept flooding into Pine's mind. There was nothing she could do to stop them. They were apart of her now.

All your family is dead. Your all alone

Her mind kept flashing back to that gruesome scene by the river. The scene where everyone she ever loved breathed in the smoke and got mind controlled. She wasn't meant to be there but she was watching. When she saw the smoke she ran and got away. When the smoke was gone she came back to see her parents body's laying in piles of blood.

You could of saved them. It's all your fault!

"N-no, sto-p," she whispers.

I cannot stay here, it's slowly tearing me apart. The flashbacks get worse and worse each day. I need, a do over!

"I need to see Queen Hazel," Pine says to the guard posted outside of Hazel's chambers.

"Yes, she's ready now," I am ushered in.

"Hello Pine, what do you require?" She asks.

"Uhm, I'd like to go to pyrrhia, please," pine asks kindly.

She hands Pine the forms and the map.

"Thank you, my queen," she bows as she goes
