"Hello Evelina.... Wake up!" Blair yelled at me. "Let. Me. Sleep" A sleep deprived me said. "Well, if you would have not woke up in the middle of the night you wouldn't be in this predicament. Anyways today is our fist day of training." As I heard the word training I immediately stood up and said "Lets do this!" With a happy look on my face.

When I got out the bathroom, I saw Blair wearing blue armor with a white shirt underneath, blue skirt, and white boots. "Lets get going we are already late..." " WHAT! Lets go!" I yelled dashing throughout the empty school until I stopped in my tracks. A wanted poster catching my eye.

Ronan Alwae wanted for stealing property belonging to the Parker Company and vandalizing the company. "Why did you stop Eve-!" Blair stopped mid-sentence. She looked staggered clutching a rose necklace I never noticed before. "What happened Blair?" "Nothing!" She said with a forced smile and closed eyes hiding her true emotion. "Weren't we going to training Evelina?" "Gosh! I totally forgot!" I said as I started jolting again, not before seeing Blair yank the poster off the wall and stuff it in her pocket.

"Students, today is your first day of training and my first look at your abilities. Myself and Ms.Linda will be watching your skills from up here at the cliff and the first person you make eye contact with will be your teammate." WHAT! Why? What if the person we make eye contact with is someone we don't get along with? There are so many problems with this and I know I'm not the only one who thinks it because everybody has the same shocked expressions. "But why the first person we look at? What if we aren't compatible with that person?" A random classmate asked. "Then you will have to learn to deal with it. Linda please finish the directions for me, I have to set up the cameras." Principle Barwen asked Ms.Linda as he turned around. "Of course Barwen. The task is to get the chess pieces and come back safely. You will probably have to fight some Dastri while doing the task. All I ask is for you kids to be careful... You may begin training." And with those words everybody began running towards the woods, eager to start the first day of training.

Okay so the first person we make eye contact with is our teammate. The only people I know is Blair and that girl I bumped into yesterday. She seems like a lost cause so that means I have to find Blair. "Ow" I said as I bumped into someone, again. "What the hell! I swear if I get bumped one more time I will-" It was her. We both stared at each other for twenty seconds until she said "It's just you again, you really need to stop doing that or I'll really snap on ya. Anyways I guess were partners now, yay." She said with obvious sarcasm. "Anyways my name is Amber. So what about you black eyes?" "My name is Evelina and don't call me black eyes." "Okay, okay I won't call you black eyes anymore but lets get to the fun part and train." Amber said sprinting farther down into the woods without waiting for me.

"Where the hell do you think the chess pieces are?" Amber asked me. "Well I guess we just have to keep searching until we find out." There was suddenly a uncomfortably long pause. "Amber? Where are you?" "Ha! Don't get scared I'm up in the trees checking for any sign of where the chess pieces could be." Amber said up in a very tall tree. "Okay but tell me if you find anything" "Whatever."

I was walking through the woods not knowing where I was going trying to find a clue for the chess pieces. Amber was still in the trees, I think. Grrr. I heard a faint growl coming from the bushes. Grrr. I heard the same sound again but closer. So I said my fathers name and one of his old weapons came into my right hand and another one in my left. When I clapped my hands together, the weapons combined to create a gigantic scythe that can shoot bullets. The Bear Dastri came out the bush and tried to scatch me but I ducked in time and was about to shoot it but someome got in my way. "Amber!" But she already shot the Bear Dastri and it disintegrated into dust.

"Amber where were you the whole time! And why did you kill the Dastri when I was already going to do it!" "Well sorry! But I didn't see you there it was my mistake but at least I killed it! It was a accident you don't have to get upset about it okay black eyes!" "I told you to not call me that!" I said anger coating my voice. "Whatever.Let's find those chess pieces and get this over with." Amber said annoyed. "I wish I never made eye conact with you" I murmured to myself. "At least we can agree on one thing." Amber barked at me bitterly.

Amber and I were searching the woods for a little more than a hour looking for the chess pieces Until she screamed "Chess pieces!" "Really!" "Yeah because I'm totally pranking you, its over there." Amber said pointing to a chess table in the distance. "It also seems like there are people there alre-" "It's Blair!" I said as I ran down the hill. "Evelina!" Blair said as I hugged her. "Hey wait for me black-Evelina!" Amber grumbled while meeting up with me. "Is this your teammate Evelina?" She asked me. "Oh yeah this is Amber." "Well this is my teammate Alission." Blair said pointing to a girl with shoulder length light brown hair, green eyes, and natural tan skin. For some reason she looked awfully similar....

"Aren't you the world-wide winner of the Cardiga tournaments!?" Amber and I asked shocked. "Yes I am, nice to meet you. I'm kinda used to that reaction by now. Blair and I came up with the conclusion that we have to fight a Dastri when we get the chess pieces but every student has to come first." Alission said with a tedious face but her eyes and voice were full of emotion and elegance. "Cool but are we just gonna wait here for the others to come?" Amber asked Alission. "Seems like it."

In 30 minutes the other classmates came. "So you said something is suppose to happen when all the students came?" "Yeah tha-" The chess table sudeenly flipped and went into the ground. Everybody started to freak out not knowing what was going on, then a over sized Scorpion Dastri and a enormous Eagle Dastri came out nowhere. The scorpion was coming my way but my reflects were too slow. Everything went in slow motion, I thought that was going to be the death of me so I closed my eyes while putting my arms over my head and waited for that stinging pain to come, but it never did.

I opened my eyes and saw Amber in front of me. She turned around but her light brown eyes were now full of guilt instead of rage. "Alright, I made up my mind about one thing. I'm gonna have to learn to live with being teammates with you and the only way were gonna do that is if we are on better terms with one another, okay? Heh, I don't think the dirty ground is that comfy so you should get up now." I didn't even realise I was on the ground until now. "But, one thing since I saved your life, can I call you black eyes?" "Sure." I told her while rolling my eyes.

"I do not know if you forgot but we have larger things to worry about!" I heard Blair scream in the distance. "Okay, so your team is going to attack the Scoripon and our team is going to take down the eagle alright?" The other people nodded their heads.

Amber and I were shooting at the eagle with our guns. Since the eagle was making pieces of rock fall down Alission jumped on the rocks getting closer to the eagle. Before she got on the eagle she cloned herself and punched the eagle in it's mouth and back. Amber's gun transformed into a archery bow and she shot one of the eagle's wing. From the now broken wing and attacks from Alission the eagle fell down making even more rocks crumble down as it fell.

This was the perfect chance to strike. Blair brought me to the cliff side with her shield. I then caught the eagle by it's neck and used bullets to run to the top as fast as I can;when I got to the cliff I shot a final bullet decapitating the Eagle Dastri making it disappear.

Everybody was cheering for me while Alisson told me to bring the chess pieces back to priciple Barwen. Making me reply with a I'll be rught there as my red hair flowed through the wind.

I was in the auditorium waiting for my name to be called while all the other teams were being called up right now. "Evelina, Blair, Amber, and Alisson please come up on the stage". We all got up on the stage. "Evelina Widow, Blair R.Parker, Amber Guyve, and Alission Cerveni are now part of team THORN and your team leader is Evelina." Principle Barwen said.

  "Oh my! Evelina your our leader!" Blair said hugging me. "Ladies, since you are now a team you can have the dorms here is your dorm key and number. Have fun, but class starts tommorow." Ms.Linda said to us handing us the keys. "Yeah! We finally get out dorms!" Amber said like an excited little girl who just got a puppy. We were walking to our new dorm but I stopped, something clicking in my head.

"Hey guys before we go into our dorm I need to ask Blair a question." "Yes Evelina, what is it?" "Your last name is Parker right?" "Y-yes, and?" She said with a crack in her voice. "So that means your a relative to the famous Parker Company right?" "...Sadly I am..." Blair said trying to hide the sudden pain her voice. "So this Ronan guy has been affecting your family and company, right?" "Yes..."

"Wait are you talking about Ronan Alwae!? He's associated with the Shadow Clan!" Amber barged in and said. "Do you have the wanted poster still?" I asked her. She nodded her head and gave me the crumpled up paper. We all read the paper together. "Don't worry we'll stop him. As a team, everyone with me?" I asked everybody. "A mission hell yeah im in!" Amber said  determined. Alission just nodded her head. "Then its final" I said proudly.

"Ronan do you have the machines?" A mysterious voice said in the dark. "You know it." Ronan replied confidently. "Good that makes things a little easier for us." "So what do you want me to do?" He asked with a New Yorker type accent. "You'll know when you need to know Ronan but right now I have some other plans for us."

A woman said as she got out the shadows. She had glowing dark yellow eyes and extremely long black hair. In a snap of her finger her apperence changed and now she had grey eyes and black hair in two ponytails.
