"What is happening?" Merlin asked confused. Arthur smirked. (First Slow, Then All At Once by pointlesstests, episode Coronation)

A voice cries out in the distance, trapped in the depths of the fic. "This is so gay, I'm gonna cry-" Their voice breaking unevenly when out of nowhere a comforting figure with a halo comes out of nowhere, Mother Wolf.

"We can cry together." She assures pulling the person into a hug. She whispers a promise, "I'll bring complementary chocolate and mountain dew to restore our 21st century souls." The person smiles in awe as a response.

"I might be late but-" Tai eagerly comes in braking the precious moment. "WAIT FOR ME! I'M JOINING!"

Mother Wolf only laughs, "It's never late sweet child." she says welcomely.

Cheb pops out from behind the door they were eavesdropping behind, encouraged by Tai's exclamation. "I don't like Mountain Dew, but you had me at chocolate. I'm joining without asking like the demonic child of magic I am." They cross their arms in misplaced defiance.

"Welcome." Mother Wolf says good-naturedly much to Cheb's delight.

"I'm coming too." Jeli cries excitedly with a large sniff. "I'll bring the tissues."

"Too late." Scarlet warbles back are muffled. "I'm already crying into my pillow with happiness." They all look over and she is indeed crying into a giant squish-mallow.

"Can I bring the chips." Emy tentatively asks Mother Wolf who nods.

The sound of a snot rag being blown comes from Scarlet's direction. "Does anyone want Carmel and Apples." She asks, voice weird from crying. Why were they even crying anymore? "I also have an upcoming batch of my cinnamon and/or peppermint hot cocoa."

Franny Jumps in nearly startling Scarlet into falling over. "I will gladly take that (nearly-year-old) food!" Some raise their eyes and Franny laughs awkwardly understanding what her sentence had implied. "Also, I'm joining."

Loli clumsily and tiredly tries and misses running through the open doorway. "Wait up yall!"
