The next morning was their last in the camp. It was still raining but it was better than during the night. Applejack and Rainbow Dash got up and inspected the weather.

-Dear Celestia, when is this going to stop?- Said Applejack.

-I for sure have no idea, but it seems that it will last all day- Said Rainbow.

-Let's go out and explore the forest- Applejack suggested.

-But, aren't we supposed to stay inside?- Asked Rainbow Dash.

-Yes, but the headmistress just announced that we can now, with a phone, an umbrella... the whole "shebang"- Said Applejack.

-Ok, then let's get dressed- Said Rainbow Dash.

The girls got their wellies on and put on some jeans, a t-shirt and a jacket. They got their phone, their umbrella and the first aid kit and headed out.

Meanwhile, the others were also getting ready for a walk. Rarity refused because she was having her beauty sleep and didn't want to be interrupted and Twilight preferred to study the weather. Fluttershy said that she was also going to stay, at least for a while, because she was a little scared.

Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer did head out. They were walking for a while, until they found Applejack and Rainbow Dash.

-We didn't know that you were coming too! We could have waited for you.- Said Rainbow Dash.

-We didn't either, until we heard that we could and thought of coming too- Explained Sunset.

-Well then, now that we are all here, let's explore the forest- Suggested Applejack.

They walked for about an hour, admiring the nature surrounding them. Whilst they walked, Twilight, Fluttershy and Rarity thought about joining too. They did, but on their way there a big, dark brown bear came and seemed to attack them. Fluttershy tried to calm it, but she couldn't. That was when they screamed for help.

On the other side of the forest, Applejack thought that she could hear a faint scream. She alerted the rest and they agreed to check what was going on. They transformed just in case and ran to where the faint scream was coming from. They arrived and saw the bear and their friends. Pinkie Pie immediately threw sprinkles, distracting the bear, Sunset helped her friends by doing her best to defend them, Applejack gathered some trees, plucking them, and surrounded the bear, whilst Rainbow Dash ran to distract it.

After a while, they managed to help the bear. Apparently, it had a splinter in its paw and just wanted to cure it. Fluttershy helped it and waved goodbye.

- Thank Celestia that you all heard our screams- Said Twilight.

- No need to thank us, thank Applejack, she was the one that heard the scream- Said Rainbow Dash, pointing to her best friend.

-Well in that case, thank you, Applejack- Said Rarity.

-I appreciate that, but it wasn't just me, sugarcubes. Rainbow, Sunset and Pinkie helped a lot, I just heard the screams- Said Applejack, she was blushing slightly.

They hugged and returned to the camp base. It was time to leave. They packed their stuff, took some photos and selfies in their tents, waved goodbye to the camp and hopped on the bus.

They returned home with something they didn't have a few days before: An unstoppable friendship.
