"Hey Tris!" I search for the source of the sund and find it to be a hand, just grasping the edge of the building.

"Oh my," I rush forwad and grab the hand. I look down and see blue-eyes meet my gaze.

"Help." His voice quite and small, as if hed given up on life already.

A hoard Dauntless and initiates crowd around me. "Some help would be nice!" I scream at them.

Two of them rush to my side, Zeke and Uri. Zeke grabs te boys arm that I was holding onto whilst I lean oer the edge reaching out for his arm. Uri sits on my legs claiming that, "I'm making sure you dont go over!"

"Grab my hand!" blue-eyes fumbles but eventually grabs it. I ignore the tingling in my hand, if I dont ignore it I'll drop him! I sceam at myself.

"Okay, on three Zeke and I ae going to pull you up, okay?" He doesnt sy anything just nods. I look to Zeke who also nods. "Okay, one, two, three!" Zeke and I pull until his armpits rest on the edge of the wall. Uriah then rushes to help trying to find something he can use to pull him up.

I feel sorry for blue-eyes when Uri grbs the elastic of him pants and starts pulling.

"Almost there!"

The three of us give one last heave and he's on the right side of the wall.

Helooks a little shaken by the whole adventure. If adventure is what you'd call it.

He look at me and nods. "Thank you" I nod.

"Well, now the... excitement," Max begins. "Is over, lets geto the real thing. Welcome to Dauntless, I'm Max, Im head in Dauntless leadership, you've got a problem you see me! If your problem is me however, ill meet you in the ring." He shouts which earns a few sniggers from the Dauntless-borns.

Beside me blue-eyes has regained his footing.

"You alright?" I whisper to him whilst Max recites a peice from the manifesto that I dont think is true.

"Fine." He takes a deep breath. "Thank you, I would most likely be splatter painting on the footpath if you hadn't helped me."

Although I shouldnt have, I laughed. Making him smile.

"To get into Dauntless, you'll have to jump." Max informs them. "Who's first?"

"Jump?!" And Erudite transfer shouts outraged. "We almost saw the making of a stiff-pancake and you want us to jump?!"

Max nodded his head. "Who's first?" He repeated.

"Oh oh oh oh! Pick me pick me pick me!" Eyes turn towards the voice. Zeke being the reason for the noise.

"Up you go Ezekiel." Max said. Zeke let out a frustrated groan whilst several people laughed atthe name.

"Dont worry Zeke! Shauna loves the name Ezekiel!" Shouts a random Dauntless-born. This of course makes both of them blush a shade of red that'd put tomatoes to shame, and everyone but them laughs.

Zeke pretended to have ignored the comment.

"Watch this Uri and Trissy-poo," he tells us whilst walking backwards towards the hole. "This is how its-" he doesnt get to finish as he fell down backwards after taking one to many steps.

We all look at the hole which swallowed Zeke as if it had spoke.

Suddenly it did. "I'M ALIVE!" I recognize Zeke's voice and start laughing. Only he could do that. People look at me like I'm mad but Uri and Max start laughing too. Then all the Dauntless-borns join in.

"How is that funny?" The same Erudite transfer says. "He could have badly hurt imself!?"

"Well pansycake," Uriah says. "Seens as your so worried about his health whydont you go next? Or are you to much of a pansycake?"

The boy starts studdering.

Max laughs maniacally. "I'd do it if I was you boy." Max tells him. "It's not that hard, really its not."

"Then I'll go next!" blue-eyes shouts.

All eyes turn to him. His turn to me and meet mine. His face breaks into a smile and the heat rises to my cheeks.

"LOOKS LIKE THE STIFF HAS A CRUSH ON TRIS!" Shauna shouts.

The blush on his face would put a tomato to shame. Personally I think the blush on my face is worse than his.

Once Max's laughter has subsided he picks up from there.

"Come on up Stiff." I cringe at the word. I hate the word, it just proves that bulling is everywhere.

He pushes through the crowd towards the giant gapping hole in the ground. Well technically its a hole in the roof... I guess.

I focus on blue-eyes. He visibly shakes and he closes his eyes. I see him bite his cheek before jumping.

All is quiet before we hear a shout from the hole. "KEEP SENDING THEM!"

Max orders the remaining initiates to line up before they defend into the black hole of nothingness.

"You two won't be able to jump this year." Max told me and Uri.

I won't lie, I was upset. I really wanted to jump, be brave like Zeke and blue-eyes.

"Okay." Uri and I mumble before following Max down a flight of stairs.
"Why don't you two run along to see Natalie and tell her Zeke stayed." It was an order, not a question. "By the time you've done that lover boy (A/N Peeta?) and Zeke should be on the cafeteria."

"Okay," Uri says. "Come on Tris! I'll race ya'!" He informs whilst running off.

The nerve of him! But I'll still win.

"What are you still doing here?" Max asks.

"Giving him a headstart." I look Max in the eyes. "He's gonna need it." Before I race off after Uri.

I've been working on it for a while trying to get my goal of making each chapter longer.

Not much else to say...

Oh I changed my profile pic. Its now of my dogs. I love the photo I've got it as my screen saver on my phone also.

Ummm, up to series 7 I think in heartland. Which I think Veronica Roth has watched as some of the names and things in there (I once heard the say amity, candor and a deceased guy was Mr Ritter and another character named Caleb).

Ummm I'm reading Death cure. Really good book. WICKED is not shuckin' good! That's a pile of shuckin' klunk!

I also made a fanfiction account. I don't have any books on there though, its mostly so I can read on my computer at school as wattpad is blocked through the schools internet.
