Their doom was close...

I heard my mother scream my name. She had her hands outstretched for me in a hope that maybe I could save her, but I couldn't move. I heard a scream most probably the audience or Haley or maybe mine own. I watched them fall, fall to their deaths. I knew it was going to happen, I saw it coming, and I tried to warn them, but it all went in vain.

I could see their bodies; my father's eyes were peacefully closed he seemed ready to embrace death my mother however wore quite the opposite expression. Her eyes were wide open, but they were empty and dead, she was scared I assume and so was I. Not because of my parents' death but because of something unknown which I couldn't tell. For now, I just knew that this might be bad but there is worse coming for sure.

A few days later...

Today was the day my parents are going to be buried. Haley said that it will give peace to the souls of my parents. I don't understand but do not object either. Grandfather always used to say that death is a punishment. I don't know why my parents are being punished like this. Perhaps, it is because they denied giving me to my grandfather but then why did they give 'her'? I wanted to ask someone if I am going with my grandfather too, but dad told me never to tell anyone about him. Father said that nobody will take me away from the here and yet here I was standing with some man who decided to keep me under his care. Adults are indeed quite complex...

AUTHOR'S NOTE

I Know that switching fandoms in the middle of an ongoing story is not a wise decision, but I assure you that I will be continuing writing both the stories. This story is written on the request of a friend who is a diehard fan of DC. Now for someone who is new to the fandom it might be confusing, and I have made a lot of changes in the story which you all might find very different from the cannon show but i promise one I start with the chapters it all will slowly start making sense.

It is completely up to you all if you want to read it or not and as I said earlier, I will be uploading chapters of both the story. Also votes and comments will be highly appreciated.
