Marinette's P.O.V.

I had just walked into school, surprisingly on time for once, and was immediately pounced on by Alya with a screech of delight,
"Girl, you won't believe what I saw last night!" I couldn't help but smile, for her excitement was contagious. When she looked at me, evidently about to burst if I didn't ask, I questioned her,
"What?"
She immediately gave another supressed squeal and practically shoved her phone in my face,
"I was walking around last night, and guess who I saw on the Eiffel Tower last night!" Without giving me a chance to guess, she shrieked,
"Ladybug and Chat Noir, kissing!".

I froze, my eyes glued to her phone. The screen shone with a photo of Adrien and I, as our alter egos, kissing. Shoot.

Did she really have nothing better to do with her time than spy on me, I mean Ladybug, and Chat Noir?
"Erm... wow!" I attempted to excitedly exclaim, but it came out a bit flat and Alya frowned,
"What's wrong girl, I thought you would be excited to see the heroes of Paris finally together?"
I mentally shook myself out of my irritation towards her, after all, she was a huge Ladybug fan and was just doing her duty as a reporter, I couldn't blame her. I forced a smile and a laugh,
"Nah, I'm just a bit tired. That is truly awesome though!"
She smirked and crossed her arms, with a disbelieving harrumph.

I innocently blinked at her,
"What?"
Her smirk grew wider and she leant in with a teasing tone,
"I think someone's feeling a bit... jealous."
I jumped back indignantly,
"Wha- Jealous?! Me? Pfft no way!"
She only responded with an unconvinced,
"Mhm."

At that moment I was thankfully saved by the model, as Adrien walked up. He cheerfully greeted us, and once his bodyguard drove away he gave me a peck on the cheek and wrapped his arms around me.

Since we revealed our identities to one another, we have been also dating as Adrien and Marinette, but without Gabriel Agreste's knowledge, and all of our classmates were more than happy to help cover for us.

Alya supressed a yip of excitement,
"Eeek! You guys are almost as cute as Ladybug and Chat Noir!"
I felt Adrien's arm stiffen, and he inquired with a fake smile,
"What's this about Ladybug and Chat Noir?"
I cut off Alya as she started to speak and responded to his inquiry with false enthusiasm,
"Alya got a picture of Ladybug and Chat Noir kissing last night, isn't that awesome Honey?"
He replied as naturally as any bloke, with a convincing,
"Good for them!"

Alya only sniggered as she looked at me and then Adrien, her eyes full of mischief. Knowing her I had about 10 seconds before she spilled the beans about my so-called "jealously".
I ferociously mouthed with a half hiss,
"Don't you dare!"

I didn't care if Adrien knew about Alya's ridiculous idea, but was more worried about his reaction. Ever since I had found out that he was my partner in preventing crime, I was always constantly anxious that he would slip up and someone would find out his identity. I feared if Alya told him, he wouldn't be able to resist making some catty response.

As Alya's eyes began to get an even more dangerous gleam in them, I looked at her with pleading eyes, pretending that I was super embarrassed by my "secret" and desperately didn't want Adrien to know about my 'celebrity crush'. She gave a reluctant sigh, but surprisingly appeared to drop the topic.

Nino joined our trio and we chatted for a while about our Chemistry homework until we were interrupted by the bell and had to head into class.

Throughout Chemistry, English, Maths and Art, no Akuma Attacks interrupted, so I managed to get all of my work done and even had some spare time to work on some fashion designs for a love-themed beret, which Alya only snickered at when she caught a glimpse of them.

Other than that, the day was pretty boring and felt like it dragged by, but at last it finished, with an hour to spare before Adrien was to picked up, as, like every other Friday, we had a free period.

As soon as we were able, we slipped out of the school and inconspicuously headed to Master Fu's.
