Chapter 6: Nearly dead and yet not

"Thor!!! What the heck happened to my daughter!!!" Daddy yelled.

Daddy was in a panic. He held Uncle Thor in the air by his collar. Fury and the Avengers tried to clam Daddy down, but to no avail. He slammed Uncle Thor against the wall and stormed off.

"Poor Loki. We have to do something," Clint said to Thor and the others.

"Aye, we have to. Brother has never been like this," Uncle Thor coughed.

Natasha sat beside my bed holding my hand. I had been in critical condition for almost a month and there was still no sign of me waking up. Natasha gently stroked the side of my head.

"Come back to us soon. Your Daddy's gone ballistic," Natasha whispered sadly into my ear.

"How is she?" Daddy asked as he walked over to the bed.

"She's in pain," Natasha said.

"How can you tell?" Thor asked.

"Her face. She never had such a haunted look on it in her whole life," Natasha said sadly.

"Is she going to be okay?" A concerned voice asked.

Daddy whorled around. "Magpie!?" He yelled.

The lady nodded.

Everyone stared at her.

"You looked just like Shelby!" Natasha yelled in shock.

"Because she is Shelby's Mother," Daddy said pulling the lady into his arms.

"I've missed you. I missed you and Shelby so much," she said between sobs.

"Why didn't you come find and tell us you were alive? Shelby thinks you're dead," Daddy said holding Mommy tight.

"I couldn't. If I had come out of hiding, the thing that attacked Shelby would have killed all three of us," Mommy said crying.

Everyone was talking and didn't notice my eyes slowly flutter open. I turned and looked at my parents. At first, I thought I was seeing things.

'That's not mommy, is it?' I thought to myself.

"Mommy?" I called quietly.

Everyone went silent.

"Mommy?" I called louder than the first time.

Everyone turned towards me.

Mommy and Daddy rushed over to me. They rubbed their eyes to make sure they weren't dreaming. Then, they started crying.

"Shelby!" Daddy wailed.

"My baby! My precious little Shelby!" Mommy cried as she hugged me.

"Mommy! Daddy!" I sobbed into my parents' shoulders. Suddenly, I shrieked in pain and grabbed my waist. Mommy and Daddy pulled away.

"Are you okay?!" Mommy asked.

"Yes. It stopped now," I said still holding my waist.

"Are you sure?" Asked Daddy.

I nodded.

Daddy rushed out and got the doctor. After a few minutes the doctor told my parents I was well enough to go home.

Everyone was thrilled. Everyone, except Ace and Andy, who thought I should stay longer to be on the safe side. My parents ignored them and took me home.

I was happy to see my Mommy and all but, I couldn't figure out why the heck I had thought she'd been dead. So, I calmly decided asked to ask her why she hadn't been there for most of my life. To my surprise, the monster I had been hurt by was the first reason.

The second was Mommy was from a planet called Terrabith-Ice. The people there who were part of the royal family, had the ability to control snow and ice. This made me feel a little different than before. I had my Daddy's magic, but my main powers were ice and snow, which came from my Mommy.

Later that month I broke up with Ace. I met my two best friends. Then, I learned we were going to see Uncle Thor's daughter, my cousin, Annabelle Odinson. I saw my Aunt Hela again. I found out I also had a cousin named Sarah from Aunt Hela. But Aunt Hela didn't know where Sarah was anymore.

I also met my two new adopted brothers. The older one, my big brother, was Wade, (a.k.a Deadpool). The younger one, my little brother, was Peter, (a.k.a Spiderman).

My best friends, Tammy and Isabella, helped me pack for the trip. They packed as well. Wade, Andy, Ace and Peter all packed as well. I couldn't wait to meet Annabelle.

To be continued...
