🗡Chapter One🗡
S he was born years before her father had made a deal with Trigon, before
Terra, and even before Robin. She was his daughter, Shiro Wilson.
Of course you'd think he would want his own daughter to fight against the Teen
Titans. However at the time she was an emotional wreck. She had lost her mother. She remembered the day well.
She was 16, her mother's doctor had called her father. She died on the operating table. She had heard the entire thing. She was killed by the Teen Titans. She held her mouth in such pain. She then walked to the training room, to the punching bag. She wrapped her wrists and fingers. She then stood before the bag. Punch after punch, kick after kick. Each hit grew harder and harder as she hold onto the tears. She collapsed on the floor that night. An cried herself to sleep. The remains of worn out leather and a holed up bag hung above her head.
He's trained her numerous times. Majority of the time his butler Stan would operate the robot drones he created. She was training right now.
She roundhouse kicked one, and another grabbed his neck and snapped it. One she held in a headlock. She tore through them, over and over. Backwards and Forwards. The butler looking frightened with each drone that hit the floor. She had stopped when the last one fell. She wasn't breathing very hard. She was gasping slightly. "Is there any way to higher the difficulty?" She had ask.
"That's the highest level Ma'am." Stan replied. Stan was an older man, about Mid Seventies. White and Grey hairs on his head. Green eyes. A butler attired suit as he should have.
She groaned. "Fine, I'm going to the training room," She had muttered and picked up her towel and stormed out of the room.
"How is her training Stan?" Slade had asked the Butler, then noticing the drone mess. Watching his daughter leave the room in an angry fashion.
"She seemed agitated Sir, is she angry at you?" The Butler had asked. "No. I wonder," He paused following her.
She on the other hand was hanging upside down and doing sit ups in her shorts and undershirt. Her hair falling to the floor in a loose and flowing manner. Her two eyes visible for the shortest periods of time. "Why are you so annoyed?" He asked, his deep voice muffled slightly due to the half black and half orange mask.
She then looked to her father, laid her hands on the floor and then did a gymnastic walk to a standing stance. "It's been five years Dad. Five!" She had almost hollered.
He then knew what she had meant. Her mother has been dead five long and quiet years ago. She was quite damaged from the loss. Her left eye then was covered by the white bangs that she loved.
"Perhaps you should go to the bar downtown, the one with the fighting ring. It always is a new challenge when you fight there." He replies.
"Sure, I guess." She had replied and walked past her father. He gripping her shoulder. "Your mission is coming soon, patience is always key." He whispered in her ear.
She nodded and walked away to her room, which was down the hall a ways. She had taped her wrist and fingers, all the way to her elbows. She then grabbed her orange leather jacket and walked out from the mansion in Jump City Square. The capital of High Crime on the Californian coast. It was was always quiet for her sometimes. How new it was when a loud noise filtered in the air.
The bar joint was called Timing Big Daddy's. She was very well known there. Not as Slade's daughter of course, but as White Blade. Her hair was very well past her knees and her skin was a paler than most. Her sad grey eyes always seemed to lure in trouble for her.
"Shiro!" Called out the masked woman named Cheshire Cat, she wore a short green skirt. Black hair and a grinning cat mask. Personally to Shiro she was nothing but a cat minded fool.
Shiro sat at the bar, and lifted her finger for a drink. She wasn't allowed to drink. Yet she did it as necessary.
"I see you're back so soon." Said the familiar voice of one named Red X.
"I thought you were arrested a week ago?" She had questioned back looking away, straight to the ring which was occupied by Mumbo and the one named Johnny Rancid.
"I was, sadly the kids couldn't hold me for very long." He replied.
Kids. He meant the Teen Titans. The ones who killed her mother morally at
least. Shiro wasn't one to hold grudges very easy. She tipped her drink back and then walked up to the ring. Waiting for the next opening fight. She had signed a page that entered her into a drawing. Red X hoping not to draw her up, did the same.
Mumbo then is thrown over the rail and into a empty table. "Yeah! You lose spindle freak!" Yelled Johnny. Who then jumped over the railing and next to Shiro. "Well, give them a good show." He said and walked off.
She then waited for the next names to be called. "Shiro and Red X!" Called out Dr.Light who then announced the names with such pleasure it nearly made the crowds of people get rowdy.
"Well then," She paused and slid her way into the ring. "Let's end this."
