Conner

I woke up and looked down at Skylar she was still sound asleep, I slowly got up and went to her balcony, looking out into the water, she remembered me as Carter, I need to tell her we need to talk.

"Morning Conner." She walked out rubbing her eyes, her hair was in a messy braid.

"Hey princess, mind if we talk?"

"Your not breaking up with me are you?"

"What!? No I would never break up with you, except for one of the goddess of love."

"Hey!" She hit my head lightly

"I'm kidding." I hugged her and she hugged me back.

"I need to explain something."

"What?"

"When I was Carter I was undercover for camp half blood to find a new kid who was the son of Apollo, I didn't intend to stay as long as I did, on the day I left you I hid and saw your teary face I never forgave myself, I love you Skylar I really do." She looked at me with a blank stare.

"That's why I felt so connected to you." I nodded, I took her hand and kissed it.

"I never meant to hurt you."

"Conner it's okay I love you too." She wrapped her arms around my neck then I heard a knock at the door.

"Skylar it's Chiron."

I started to panic Demi gods had to stay in their own cabins, I looked at Conner.

"There is no where to go." I looked past his shoulder.

"I'm sorry." Before he could answer I pushed him over the edge and there was a huge splash.

"Chiron what a pleasant surprise." I said opening the door.

"Skylar, Conner was not in us cabin do you know where he might be?" I started searching my minds for ideas, then my stomach growled and I had one.

"Conner told me to meet him at the mess hall after he finished practicing his sword fighting, he might already be on his way there now. Is everything okay?"

"Thank you and yes everything is fine I thought he actually might be here." I shook my head.

"Last thing I remember is my head hitting my pillow." He laughed and bid me farewell, I closed the door and ran to the balcony where Conner was still shocked from me pushing him in.

"Ohhh you'll pay for this Princess." He jumped up and put his legs over the balcony, and put his arms out for a hug.

"No your wet." But he grabbed me as I squealed he fell back in. I opened my eyes as we surfaced.

"Pay back is sweet." He said kissing my cheek.

"You better hurry so Chiron won't come back."

"Fine." He said with a sigh and jumped out helping me out next.

He ran out the door and headed toward the mess hall, I went in and brushed my now wet hair, putting it in a braid, then put on my training uniform for capture the flag, then I grabbed my sword. It lit when I touched the handle I put the handle in my belt, and let go, there was nothing but the handle left.

I looked in the mirror and saw that I was ready but before I was about to leave I saw something on the balcony it was a small box with a note.

"I never had the chance to give this to you, wear it everyday and don't worry about it getting lost I'll just steal it from you."

I opened the box and saw a ring, I looked inside it, it had my name carved with a heart beside it. I put it on and walked out setting the box on my bed ready for training.
