Conner

I grabbed my sword and flying shoes, today we were going to help Skylar with flying and air combat, its my favorite training session. I walked into the arena and saw Annabeth with her bow and arrows, Percy by the water fountain, Grover up in the bleachers, and Chiron standing in the middle looking up at the skies with his walking stick.

"She's not here yet." Chiron said as I went beside him

"She might be getting her equipment." I lied, I knew she went to see her mother today, Chiron doesn't know that we took her so close to the magical border.

There was a flash of light and the next thing I knew is that I was on the ground with Sky on top of me with her wings opened.

"Sorry Conner." She smiled shyly

"It's alright Princess but, can you get off of me?" As she was getting up I have her a quick kiss on the cheek, she smiled as he closed her wings.

"Your late Skylar." Chiron said walking up to us.

"In sorry Chiron, I had some business to take care of." It looked like what she said satisfied him because he walked back to the center.

We all formed a line in front of Chiron, I took Skylar's hand and gave it a squeeze relived that she isn't in trouble with Chiron.

"Today we will work on take off and landing, Conner will be on caught, Percy will be giving up obstacles in landing and take off, then later Annabeth will fire sticks up at you to avoid." She nodded and we all went to our positions.

Skylar

I went in the center of the arena and took off, I went up until I was over the whole arena, then I heard Chiron yell into his horn.

"Try hovering there Skylar, don't worry Conner will catch you if you are starting to fall." I gave him a thumbs up and looked to my right and saw Conner give me a wink.

"Remember when you are falling for this session to close your wings." Conner said as I stopped and tried to stay there, I was very wobbly and went upside down I couldn't straighten out in time, I quickly put my wings away.

"Got ya Princess." I felt Conner wrap his arms around my stomach and legs, I put my arms around his neck.

"Thank you Prince Charming." He smiled and sat me down on the ground.

This happened about ten more time until I finally was able to hover and turn.

"Great job Skylar, are you ready for......" Before Chiron finished the dinner horn sounded out.

"That's all for today then, but tomorrow bright and early." We all nodded and walked out, Percy took Annabeths hand, and Conner took mine.

"Well that was fun." Conner said

"For you maybe, but I was terrified."

"You'll get use to it." Just as we were about to enter the dinner hall we heard Chiron call mine and Conners name.

"Oh no he sounds a little angry." Conner said I squeezed his hand and he rubbed the top of my hand with his thumb
