Conner grabbed onto my arm and pointed one way then another, I nodded and started moving my way, I climbed a tree and across a tree branch above the centaurs, I looked down at them they weren't moving at all just guarding the cave, but why?

I saw a silver sword go through the heart of one so I quickly jumped on top of the other and killed him quickly, we looked at each other, dang I love that boy, I smiled and then looked at the cave it was pitch black, why would they be here?

I used the sword as light as we walked carefully hand in hand, "Why are they guarding this cave? Its nothing but an endless pit of darkness." I asked Conner as he lead the way.

"No idea maybe it's a passage to somewhere." He suddenly stopped and I hit his back.

"What's wrong?" I said getting ready to fight

"I hit a wall." He said turning around to face me.

"Well I guess this is where we rest." I looked around for somewhere to start a fire since it was already cold in the cave, I put my sword straight up to give us more light, I then saw writing on the wall.

"Conner what does this say?" I asked him, he turned around and looked at the writing, I maybe the daughter of Zeus but I still can't read Greek.

"But what does.." The words were then complete white and a huge bright light was shinning in below it.

"They must have not been able to read the words." Conner said as he cautiously stepped toward to light, I grabbed his arm.

"Wait we don't even know what that thing is and I'm not losing you."

"Baby, it means passage of love, only you and I can enter it," He cupped my face in his hands, "I would never leave you." He kissed my nose and I couldn't help but giggle.

"I would never leave you either." We walked in together hand in hand.

"Wow." I breathed with what was on the other side, it looked liked a beautiful garden, a white temple stood in the middle of it, the darkness hasn't reached here.

"I know right, its a good thing the darkness hasn't reached here, that must be where the book of the dead is."

"Something so horrible hiding in all this beauty." I said sadly, Conner squeezed my hand, we started walking toward the temple, we came to a huge door covered in vines, Conner pulled them off the see a brown door, he pushed and pulled on it.

"Locked?" I asked him and he nodded scratching his head and looked around, I put my hand in and around the circular metal, I pulled and it still wouldn't move.

"Maybe if we do it together?" He nodded and put his hand on top of mine we both pulled and it opened.

I smiled in victory, "Well aren't we just miss smarty." Conner chuckled, it was once again dark so I grabbed my sword, I went first this time and went down the stairs carefully, there was another door that we had to pull together again.

"There it is." I looked and saw the Book of the Dead.

I started walking toward it but saw that it was in closed in a glass case with a circle key.

"Think my thief can unlocked this?" I asked him with a smirk, he smirked back and looked at the lock carefully, he pulled away shaking his head.

"No, no I don't think I can it's in four different pieces I never seen this kind of lock before." Suddenly there was light being shinned into the room, but there aren't any windows, the lights were strong in four place, I walked toward one and saw a golden and silver braided piece of metal, I picked it up and held it in my hand, Conner grabbed two from the other side of the room and I grabbed my two.

"These have to be the key." Conner putting a little piece of the bended metal into a slot, I did the same, when all of them were in place the glass case fell, Conner grabbed the book.

I smiled, "Now how do we get home?"

"You don't." A female voice came from behind us.

"Who are you?" I asked pulling my sword from my belt.

"My name is unimportant, give me the book of the dead and you may leave with your lives." She put her hand out, palm facing up.

"I don't think so." Conner said clutching the book.

"Well aren't you two cute, hmm but every couple have a price." It happened so fast, a blur of smoke grabbed Conner and pulled him towards her, the book of the dead fell and was at my feet.

"Conner!!" I yelled

"Now you have two choices, give me the book of the dead so I can give it to Hades or take it and leave lover boy here to die."

"No Sky! Take the book and run! If she takes it to him the world will end!" Conner yelled at me, I looked down at the book and picked it up, the love of my life and the world rest in my hands all because of this stupid book.

I walked toward her and put the book in her hands, "I choose love."

A flash of light came from the case that held the book I had to close my eyes from the brightness, when I opened my eyes and saw we were transported on the beach that was at camp half blood.

"What?" I was so confused the book of the dead and the woman was standing beside my dad and Hermes.

"Where's Conner?!"

"Behind you baby." I looked behind me and saw Conner smiling at me.

"What...what happened?" So happy to see him alive, he held out his hand and I saw the four pieces of gold and silver medal.

"The key?" Conner knelt down on one knee.

"Our love is the strongest together and we fight with our greatest strength, that was with the centaurs." He held up one of the pieces of medal.

"Our love may be beautiful but sometimes darkness may try to take it, that was with the garden and the book of the dead hiding with in the walls of that temple." He put a second piece of medal together and a small gold light went around in bidding it together.

"When there is darkness you are my light and I shall be yours, that was when we were in darkness looking for the keys." Once again a gold light was bidding them together.

"Lastly, I will always choose you and you alone, as I hope you will with me, when you were forced to chose between me or the book of the dead." He put the last piece in the empty space but there was no light.

"Skylar you are all of these things, you shall be my light in darkness, my every choice, I will fight for our love, I wanted this quest to be something very special to show you what you and I could do, when I left you when I was Carter it hurt so badly and there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't think of you, so please Skylar Lawrence will you make me happiest man alive and will you marry me? θα με παντρευτείς?" He asked me while holding the finally piece to me I was crying with happiness, I took it and put it in the empty spot.

"I will." The light the bidded the last piece, it was a golden and silver braided ring.

He slipped the ring on my finger just above the ring he gave me, "I love you Skylar." He stood up, I jumped in his arms and kissed him with a deep passion.

"I love you too Conner." We maybe young but our love is real.
