I woke up and sat up the blanket floated off of me I heard a knock at the door and I opened it it was Chiron.

"Good morning." He said

"Morning uh where is everyone?"

"They are eating breakfast and preparing for the game I see you put on you armor but where is your sword?"

"Uh inside."

"Okay someone will be coming by to get you for breakfast and to take you where the blue team will be talking about the plans."

"Thanks."

"Your welcome."

I closed the door I wanted to think this was all just a crazy dream and I would wake up but then there was a knock at the door a quickly brushed my hair and teeth and put it up and grabbed the sword it lite up when I touched it but I put it in my waist band and it dimmed. I opened the door.

"Hi I'm Conner and this is Travis."

"Hi."

"Wow is that you sword."

"Yes."

I pulled it out and it lite up Travis touched it and I shocked him.

"Travis it's made of lightning only she can touch it."

"Yeah I could have know that five seconds ago!"

I put it back in my band and looked in the distance and saw a fire.

I started swaying and I walked down missing the step and falling on Conner it snapped me out if it.

"Uh you okay Skylar?"

"What uh yeah sorry Conner."

We were pretty close I rolled off and he got up and helped me up my skin tinkled where he touched it. Travis shut the door and we walked to breakfast I eat and then we talked about plans.

"Alright Skylar you are going to guard the flag." Percy said Conner was standing over me touching my waist to get up higher he moved his hand quickly to his side.

"Conner you help her out."

"Me and the rest of the team will go get the flag."

The horn sounded and moved to our positions we waited up in the tree above the flag. The horn sounded for it to begin we waited and Conner

whispered.

"So your the daughter of Zeus?"

"I guess and who are you?"

"Hermes."

"Messager, and thief?"

"Yep."

We heard someone beside my side and someone behind Conner I little away I nodded and he jumped down and ran I jumped and saw a older man I put my sword in my waist band.

"Uh sir we are in a middle of a game."

"Uh my dear sweet key."

That voice.

"You are the one talking to me in my mind!"

"Yes I guess I had to do it personal."

"Who are you?"

"Why I am Hades."

"God of the underworld?"

"The very same now if you don't mind coming with me."

He started coming close and I drew my sword and pointed it at him he made a gesture and it flew out of my hands.

"I didn't want to do this but you leave me no choice." He put his hand out at me and lifted me off the ground and couldn't move.

"Let's go."

"No!"

I looked at him and he fell to the ground and so did I he started coming toward me I turned on my stomach and put my hand out to my sword and focused on and flew into my hands I pointed it at Hades and he put his arms up.

"You are not going to kill me at least you will but I can tell you so much of your mother."

"What?"

"She never loved you."

"Yes she did!"

"Your dad didn't either that's why he left."

"Stop!"

I turned around and covered my ears my sword fell.

"No one ever will love you."

"Stop!"

I turned around and my eyes started glowing I made a pushing gesture and he went flying a tornado came around me and I was lifted off the ground thunder and lighting crashed I felt tears down my cheeks. I felt a hand on my shoulder it was Conner he grabbed my hand and started pulling me down and hugged me I cried in his shirt.

"Calm down."

Something came toward us and everything went black.
