Its been a few days since i kicked that monster and we arrived at our hide out, which was an old tree house that landon and bailey built as kids. It had enough room for a pack of 15 werewolves, im not saying that we're a pack.

"Luna, could you and Bailey go out and get some food? We just ran out of the meat you guys got the other day." Maddy said from the kitchen.

"Sure thing, Maddy!" i said to her, grabbing the cloak that we on the way to the tree house. The cloak was blood red and it fit me better than anyone else.

I jumped from the tree house to the ground and shifted. I waited for Bailey to come down from the tree house or to come out from behind a tree but no one came around and it was getting dark so i shifted back.

"Luna..." a voice called from the surrounding forest.

"Hello?" i asked, slowly stepping towards the trees.

"Come, Luna..."

"Wh-who's there?" i asked.

"Quickly, daughter..." said the voice.

I kept waking towards the voice. I soon got a bad feeling about it but i just shrugged it off, i was used to bad feelings. I kept walking and walking until i saw something. I pain in my chest stopped me dead in my tracks and i felt blood coming from my nose.

"What the hell?" i muttered to myself.

I fell onto the ground saw a pair of feet come towards me. I held myself up on my elbows and had my hands on the back of my head as I looked down at the ground. I felt someone bite into my side and i screamed in pain. I heard more footsteps coming and it sounded like they were running. I saw Bailey in his wolf form with Maddy, Danielle, Emily, and landon behind him. My side was bleeding.

"What happened!" Maddy yelled at me.

Right when i opened my mouth to say something i collapsed and hit my head on the ground. I wanted to shift to my wolf form to try to hunt down that creature who bit my side but i was too weak to do anything so I closed my eyes and welcomed the darkness.

When i woke up in my room in the tree house. I tried to sit up but it hurt too much to even move my left arm. I placed my left hand on my stomach and felt bandages there. Emily came in and saw that i was awake.

"Luna, you're up! How you feeling?" Emily asked.

"Like i was ran over by a truck on one side. The last thing i remember was some guy biting my side." i said, my throat feeling raw.

"Well, you were bitten but we couldn't get all the venom out. Luckily, you'll be fine is a matter of hours."

"Venom? You don't mean that guy was a vampire or something, do you?" i said, swallowing a lump in my throat.

"We don't quite know if it was a vampire or not. If it was, the venom should've killed you by now but since you're still alive, I'm guessing that it was just a guy with a mental issue."

Emily opened the curtains on my window and the sunlight seeped in. It touched my right hand and it started to hurt like hell itself, where Hates and Persephone live in the Greek Myths I learned about in school before I dropped out.

"Looks like I'm wrong..." Emily sighed and closed the curtains.

She walked out of the room and left me there alone. I started to get tired so i closed my eyes and went to sleep even though it was the middle of the day.

"Luna, my dear daughter, you must not hide from the sun nor moon. You were bitten by a creature who fears the sun and dwells at night where the moon can be seen. It was stupidity who got you bitten and now your wolf is trying to heal you when it can't. You are now part vampire, a creature of the night, and part werewolf, a creature of the moon." said a voice that always spoke in my dreams.

"Who are you?" i asked.

"I'm the moon, darling, and my name is Selene. No more fear towards me, sweetheart. You must now fear the sun and ultra-violet lights for they can hurt you. Your friends don't know what you are now. You are the daughter of a vampire and a werewolf and the my light, therefore I'm now your mother since your real mother died."

"You sent hunters to kill my parents! How the hell am I supposed to forgive you for that! For killing my parents and making my boyfriend break up with me and making me lose my job and making the rest of my family abandon me like I'm just a... a..." I couldn't speak anymore.

I woke up with fresh tears streaming down my cheeks from my eyes. I sat up and looked around. The curtains were pulled and the light of the moon shown through the glass onto my bed and floor. I stood up and removed my bandages that Emily placed on me. I was healed and i was craving something new. Something that disgusted me. I was craving blood.

I walked out of my room to find Bailey playing Solitary with a deck of normal cards. He looked up and smiled. I looked into his eyes and i could that his wolf wanted to go for a run but Bailey kept his wolf in.

"You're up late, how you feeling?" he asked me.

"Much better. I'm thinking about going for a hunt or something." i said and his eyes beamed brighter than the moon itself, or herself.

"My wolf really wants to go for a run right now." he said.

"I can tell by looking at your eyes." i said with a slight laugh.

"Speaking of eyes, your eyes are different from the other day before you were bitten." he said, standing up and walking closer to me to where his face was only inches from mine.

He was slightly taller than me. He was only inches from my face and I could smell his blood. It was like the vampire in me wanted on my his blood for no reason that I could tell. He looked right in my eyes and i looked into his. We held each other's gazes for a good minute before he stepped back and looked away.

"Lets go for a run, maybe it'll make our wolves happy." he said as he went to the ladder that lead to the ground.

I followed him down the ladder and when we made it to the ground, he shifted. I shifted and it felt like i was in a different wolf form.

"Luna, your wolf form's different! You have red fur, icy blue eyes, and a blue star on your head!" Bailey thought.

"You look different, too! You have blue fur, icy blue eyes, and a red star on your head!" i thought back.

He bolted away into the forest and i followed him. I heard sounds that i couldn't ever hear before and when i caught up with Bailey, i could hear how hard his heart was beating. He was pushing himself too hard. I shifted back in mid-leap and kept running faster and faster to the point where the forest was just a huge blur.

I stopped at a tree and waited for Bailey to catch up and when he did he shifted back and fell onto the ground, panting like mad.

"Bailey, you ok?" i asked him

"Just out of strength. How can you go that fast in your human form?" he asked me.

"Can i tell you something?"

"Sure."

"Promise not to freak out or be scared?"

"Cross my heart!"

"When i was asleep before this run, i had some sort of dream where i was told that im half werewolf and half vampire and the moon is suddenly my mom now that my real mom is dead. The moon's name is Selene and my parents were a vampire and a werewolf and im their daughter as well as the moon's because i was born under the light of the moon." i said, not looking at bailey.

Bailey simply sat down next to me and i sat down. He looked into my eyes and i looked into his. "I don't care what you are, Luna, and you can use your cloak to hide from the sun." he said simply.

"But what will the others say? Will they be scared? Will landon try to kill me when he finds out? What will I do if or when i need to drink blood?" i asked bailey.

"If you need to drink blood, drink mine." was all he said before got up and shifted.

I shifted into my wolf form and followed him back to the tree house and up the ladder to find a group of worried teens who were our friends.
