Its been a few days since I attacked everyone, which I don't ever remember trying to hurt them, and Landon's been watching my every move. He's very protective of Maddy and Danielle and just hates werewolves. Emily is protective of Bailey and she hates vampires. Landon and Emily have been reading books on how to kill a hybrid like me and they've been hanging out together a lot, ever since they found out i was a hybrid.

"Luna!" Maddy said, snapping her fingers in my face, dragging me from my deep thinking.

"Wha?" i said.

"You have to stop daydreaming! We're almost to the party, by the way." she said, bouncing up and down in her seat.

Dylan and Zoe were taking us to homecoming as an apology for everything. Emily was in a low-cut dress that had no straps and was a beautiful yellow. She was also in 5 inch heels. Maddy and Danielle were both in low-cut dresses with straps and were a beautiful light pink, they were wearing the same type of dress. Maddy and Danielle were in black flats. Landon and Bailey were in tuxedos and dress shoes that almost matched but Landon was wearing a black tie and Bailey was wearing a midnight blue tie. I was wearing a midnight blue dress that went down to my ankles and it had a cut that climbed up from my left ankle to my mid-thigh, it had straps with silvery white dots on them. I wore flats that were the color of the night sky with the full moon on them.

"I can't wait to get out of this suit!" Landon complained.

"Maddy picked it out for you, Landon. Be nice and don't complain." Danielle said to landon.

"I can't wait to get out of this dress." i muttered.

"Luna, you look beautiful in that dress, even I'm jealous how good you look in it!" Emily said to me.

"She is right..." Bailey thought, sneaking a glance at me. Thanks to me being part vampire, i can hear what people are thinking.

"Thanks for the compliment, Bailey." i thought to him. He stared at me and i just laughed.

"Looks like someone likes someone." Maddy whispered to Danielle and giggled like a little girl who just got a bunch of Barbie dolls or something.

"I heard you." i said, glaring at Maddy.

"Sorry, i forgot you can hear us, even if we whisper." she said.

"I can also hear thought..." i said, glancing at Bailey with a devilish grin.

"Without being in your wolf-form? That's amazing!" Landon said.

We made it to the high school and all got out of the car and walked to the gym, where Homecoming was being held. When we entered, it was almost packed with kids. There was a snack bar and a water station. A DJ was playing music and most of the kids were dancing and the rest were hanging out. All the girls wore heels and the guys wore dress shoes. A song called Riptide was playing and everyone that was dancing sang along.

"What we do?" i asked.

"We dance, hang out, and eat snacks." Emily said as she went onto the dance floor and started to dance, Maddy and Danielle followed her.

Me, Landon, and Bailey went over to the snack bar and got a cookie each. We tried to find the girls but they were too far in the crowd to see them. The DJ turned on a slow song and i was near a wall. All the girls, including Emily, Maddy, and Danielle, were dancing with boys. Landon was with Maddy and Danielle was with this kid named Jon. Emily was with a kid named Blake and i was alone. Bailey sat in a chair next to me and a girl came over and asked him to dance, he said no and the girl stomped away. Bailey glanced at me then looked around the crowd of slow dancing couples, he was frowning.

"May i have this dance?" asked a boy with dark brown hair and blueish-brown eyes.

"I can't really dance." i said.

"That's ok, i can't either." he said with a chuckle.

"I would rather sit here than to embarrass myself."

"Then can i sit next to you?"

"Sure?"

"Im Eric, by the way."

"Im Luna."

We talked for the whole slow dance and then this girl came over, she had copper red hair and blue eyes. She grabbed his hand and walked away with him, she was really mad. Bailey scooted closer to me, his face red.

"Bailey, you ok?" i asked him.

I felt his forehead and he had a high fever, not good. I got up and helped Bailey to the doors that lead outside, it was cold out there. I sat Bailey down on the ground and he was sweating. I ran back inside to find Emily, Maddy and Landon, or Danielle. I found them by the snack bar.

"Guys! Bailey has a high fever, we need to get him home, now!" i said to them.

"Where is he right now?" Emily asked, worried.

"He's sitting on the ground outside. The cold air should help him a bit but we need to get home so he can relax in his bed and get rest." i said.

We walked outside and saw Bailey sitting on the ground where i left him. He glanced up at us and laid down, closing his eyes and falling asleep. Landon kicked him, waking him up. I shoved landon in the side with my elbow really hard.

"He's sick." Danielle said, lifting her hand off Bailey's head.

"Maybe i can super speed home and get Bailey in bed? I might be strong enough to carry him, i don't know for sure. Its dangerous for a werewolf to shift while their sick, no matter what. Unless its to protect their mate, which is rare. Werewolves haven't had mates since..." i trailed off, remembering how my dad had protected my mom, she was his mate. A tear ran down my cheek and i wiped it.

"Since what?" Landon aksed.

"Since my parents were killed. They were the last mated couple for their generation and told me once that i would find a mate, that he would be either a human, vampire, or werewolf. We need to get Bailey home." i said, kneeling next to bailey.

I picked him up and ran home using my super speed. I laid Bailey on the couch and went into the bathroom to change into the spare clothes i kept under the sink. It was a sleeveless blue flannel and jeans, i had admit that i looked awesome in it.

I went to the kitchen and started to make Bailey some soup. Once it was finished, i poured some into a bowl and brought it to him. He could barely sit up so i helped him get into a sitting position and he ate the soup. I started to think about how my parents treated me when i was little. Soup always helped me and it seemed to be working. When he finished, i placed his bowl in the sink and helped him lay back down.
