"Luna, its safe." i heard someone say in my head.

I gulped and walked toward Bailey. He placed my cloak on me and i pulled up the hood. Bailey takes off his shirt and jumps into the lake, i get splashed. I glared at him and he grabbed my arm, pulling me into the lake. We started to talk about the history of werewolves and vampires and how they had a war over the earth and why its forbidden for a vampire and a werewolf to be mates and have a child. The sun kept rising over our heads and the sun started to burn me. Bailey stood between me and the sun's rays.

"I'm your guard from the sun now. When you gonna drink my blood to stay safe from the sun, Luna?" Bailey asked me.

"I don't really like the idea of drinking someone's blood. It's just not right to use someone just for their blood and most vampires kill the people or animals they drink from and i don't wanna hurt anyone." i said, a tear fell down my cheek.

"Who says you'll hurt anyone?"

"The way emily freaked out last night made me feel like im not meant to be alive or something. I know that she's worried for the protection of everyone like landon is."

"We're all worried for each other. Danielle said the other day that Landon and Maddy are gonna break up, I don't believe her though." Bailey said with a slight laugh.

I sat down in the shallow water that we've been talking in. The sun kept rising and Bailey kept his back to me, keeping has much sun light away from me as possible. I felt my fangs grow to the size of vampire fangs and the vampiric thirst for blood sent a jolt of pain through me. Suddenly, i stood up and sunk my fangs into Bailey's neck, i wasn't in control. He fell backward but i caught him, i was drinking his blood. I regained control and pulled my fangs out his neck and stopped the blooding by licking the wound. Vampire spit can heal any wound caused by that vampire. Bailey's eyes were closed and he was barely breathing. I dragged him onto shore and under the cover of the trees, out of the sun light.

"Bailey! Get up!" i yelled, trying to wake him up by slapping his face.

Bailey opened his eyes and jolted up into a sitting position. His eyes darted around the place until he was looking at me. Tears were falling down my cheeks.

"What happened. The last thing i remember was something sharp stabbing me in the neck." Bailey said, his voice full of worry.

"I actually don't know exactly what happened but it involves blood and loosing control." i said, wincing a little.

"Wait, you drank my blood!"

"I guess so?"

"Now you're safe from the sun! This is awesome!" Bailey exclaimed, standing up. He grabbed his shirt and put it on. "Lets get back to the tree house before Emily can freak out." Bailey tried to shift into his wolf form but couldn't.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I can't shift."

"Maybe we can just run?"

"You're faster than me."

"Oh. Right. Maybe I can carry you or something?"

"No, you'll hurt yourself." bailey said.

"Try to shift again." i said and he tried again, succeeding. I shifted, too, and we ran back to the tree house.

We made it before anyone thought i was gone. We shifted back and we decided that i would climb a tree and go in through my window, which Bailey would open.

We did exactly that and I almost fell out of the tree. When i made it into my room, i went to bed and laid on it, waiting for Bailey to tell everyone that i was safe from sun light and that i don't have to sleep during day. Suddenly, my door swung open and there was someone that I didn't recognise.

The stranger walked over to me and grabbed me by the throat, lifting me up. I clawed at his wrist, trying to get him to let me go. I kicked at him, failing. He finally let me go and i fell to the ground, rubbing my neck where he was holding me. I stood up and my vampire fangs appeared, he took a step back like he was scared.

"Filthy vermin!" the stranger yelled at me.

"Who are you and why are you here! What did you do to my friends!" i yelled back.

"Luna! Kill him!" i heard Maddy or Danielle yell.

"The little brats and the werewolf? Their gonna be food for my queen, vampire." the stranger said.

"Im no vampire." i said to him, with a smirk. I shifted and shifted back, showed him my vampire fangs.

"You're the one my queen's looking for!" He said, about to bolt out of the room.

"And who's your queen?" I said, pinning to the wall. I heard his heart beat quicken with every breathe.

"Queen Selene of the moon, hybrid monster. She's been looking for you." said the stranger with a psychotic laugh.

I ripped his head off and tossed him out the window. I've delt with psychos like him multiple times. I ran into the main room and saw more men but these guys had guns pointed at the heads of my friends. Emily was unconscious on Bailey and Maddy, Landon, and Danielle were tied to chairs.

"Its the Hybrid. Get her!" said one of the men, most likely their leader.

One of the men walked over to me and tried to grab my arm, i stepped back and grabbed his arm, flipping him over my shoulder. He fell to the floor with a hard thwack and another guy came over and tried to grab my hair. I pulled a knife out of his pocket and slit his throat, i licked the blood off it and walked over to the other men, my eyes a deep blood red. I threw the knife into one of the guys' eyes and he fell to the floor. I picked up his gun and aimed it at the guy who was aiming a gun at Maddy's head and pulled the trigger, his head had a bullet hole now. I aimed at the guy who was holding a gun to landon's head and shot that guy in the gut, he started to spit up massive amounts of blood and fell the floor. I shot the guy who was pointing a gun at Danielle's head and he fell to the floor, instant death because of a bullet to the heart. The guy that i threw over my shoulder was now up and aimed a bullet at me. I used my vampire speed to get to him stabbed him right in the chest, I kept stabbing him until i hands were covered in blood. The last guy was the leader and he had a gun to the heads of Bailey and Emily, two of my friends.

"One more step closer and a bullet goes into the boy's head!" the man yelled.

"Luna, kill him! Don't care about me and kill this bastard!" bailey yelled at me as i took a step back.

"I will not let any one of my friends die because of me, not even Emily." i said.

I shot the guy in the chest 13 times and he shot almost Bailey in the head, I used my super speed from my vampire and werewolf halves to get between him and the bullet. The bullet landed in my arm and fell onto the ground at the feet of Bailey, Maddy, Danielle, Emily, and landon.
