Meeting the Fellowship
A/n: just imagine that Gandalf isn't there
your pov-
I was laying in my stable when a new smell filled my nostrils. Being the curious dragon I am, j stood up and followed the scent. It led me to glade hidden of stairs and white trees. I sniffed in the air once again and smelt the scent once again. It was 3 halflings, 2 men and one dwarf, and a smell I knew far too well. An elf. A growl sounded from deep inside my throat.
I saw Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn walking down the stairs. I hid behind the big staircase, well as good as a dragon of my size can hide in a place like this. "you can greet the newcomers, my dear. I feel that you'll need to aid them further in this quest" lady Galadriel said in my mind. I nodded short before letting my body shift. A cloak covered my platinum blonde hair, making my face cover in shadow. Only my eyes were visible. My other form had slender arms, two legs, and elven ears.
I emerged from the stairs and walked up to Lady Galadriel. I swear I could see a look of surprise on her flawless face. Guess she didn't know that I could shapeshift. Lord Celeborn had the same expression. Galadriel bowed before me. I chuckle and laid a hand on her head. "Galadriel, my friend. Stand up for my presence is nothing to u. You're the lady of the light, while I am just an elleth. Stand up, my royals." my voice was soft but stern. It also leaked of amusement that these elves would bow before me, though I didn't like it very well.
Lady Galadriel did as she was told. She smiled warmly at me before turning to the newcomers. I study them firmly, leaping my eyes over their figure. I meet their eyes, I see what happened, I can read it in their eyes. I growl before turning my head to Galadriel. "Galadriel, these travels are the Fellowship of the ring. Let them sleep." I whisper the last part before casting a glance at a hobbit with brown, almost black hair. I feel the ring. He is the ring bearer. I feel their loss, their pain.
I bow fast before securing out in the garden, away from the ring.

CARAS GALADON, LOTHLÓRIEN - NIGHT
I watch from a high place in the crowns of the trees as the fellowship sets down for the night. I hear their conversations. I lay down, continues listing.
Gimli, Legolas, Merry, Pippin, Frodo, and Sam are in a pavilion set among the trees near the fountain. They lie on soft couches as elves leave food and wine for them. Mournful singing drifts down from the trees above. " A lament for Gandalf..." Legolas says sadly. I wide my eyes as I hear the name of my old friend. I stand up, spreading my wings before softly gliding down and land on the pavilion.
I trod silently as I laid down in a corner, close to them. I slowed my hot breath as they continued to talk about what the elven singers' song was about. Could Gandalf be dead? No, I refuse to think that. A wizard such as him cant do that easily. I took a deep breath before letting it out. that was not so very wise. I heard the voices of the fellowship stop. I jerk my head up, alerted. I scan around. They must have heard me. "Cures!" I hissed.
"Whos there?" I heard one of the men asks. I sigh before coming out of my hiding place. I hear them gaps as their eyes land on me. I must have startled them, for their eyes were widen in fear. "Hello," I said softly. The dwarf Gimli quickly pulled one of the hobbits behind him and pounced at me. I held a straight face as I cathed him with my tail. He struggled but I held higher. "No attack, master dwarf. Or your life will be short" I growled in his ear.
"Okay, Okay!" he said urgingly. I chuckled before placing him on the ground again.

I know this is short but I have noted inspiration for this one. I will probably continue tomorrow
